Great location, easy walk down to restaurants in town. Love the coffee place across the street. House is very old (in a lovely historical way) but rooms were very nicely appointed and kitchen had good supplies. The front porch was a great place to enjoy coffee. We also used the oversized dining table.

Large house with spacious comfortable rooms. Front porch was a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. Beds were very comfortable. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. House was within walking distance to downtown and some good restaurants. Would stay at this house again.

Spacious and comfortable interior -- room for family and friends to be together without feeling on top of one another. Lots of comfortable seating w. lighting for a cozy read. Within easy walking distance of Harpers Ferry National Park. Great for a combo history/ hiking trip. (Bring your own throw blankets for a read, though!)

Our stay was absolutely delightful! The host was responsive and made everything seamless. The house itself was very nice. The location couldn’t have been better, and every amenity was thoughtful, from the locally sourced coffee to the plush beds and linens. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and comfort. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

Tried to eat dinner outside but the bugs were bad. It was nice that the deer were not intimidated and walk right past us. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was nice for our family. A lot of construction/renovation going on in the neighborhood but it’s still a beautiful town.

The PERFECT place to stay in Harpers Ferry! We came to hike the A.T. from Idaho, Washington, Oregon. A bunch of (not so old) basketball players. The house couldn't have been better. Room for everyone, comfortable beds, fully outfitted kitchen, and the washer/dryer was a godsend. But, our favorite part of the house was the porch. We're still all dreaming about the porch. Now that we're all back at work, someone will just randomly text "porch" to the group and we all smile and sigh. Thank You Mountain Mama for a truly unforgettable stay!

Awesome! Our family LOVED this home. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, whitewater rafting, and dining. This property was exactly as advertised with a comfortable feel and gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The hosts provided all the usual amenities and games for our amusement. The hosts were also communicative and responsive. We had a wonderful visit and hope the White House is available for our next trip to the area!

The Appalachian Trail Meet Up

We met my brother in Harpers Ferry for a break from hiking the AT. Our stay at the White House Inn was great. The house is beautiful and clean. It’s in a great location for walking to historic places, restaurants and shops.We would stay here again.

Love the White House Inn

The White House Inn is a beautiful historic home with an outstanding location in Harper's Ferry. The home is beautifully remodeled while maintaining it's historical ambiance. One outstanding feature is the number of modern bathrooms. Everyone in our group had her own bathroom. The owner anticipated all of our needs as the house had all the accessories we could have wanted. I would definitely stay in this property again.

Lovely place full of charm but updated enough to be very comfortable and big enough for many people to spread out.Harpers Ferry is a great little town less than an hour from IAD and close to hiking, biking, history, and good food and drink!THX

Lovely historic home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Walking distance to Harper's ferry attractions and plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out. We anticipate renting this property in the future for more ladies weekends!

Perfect property for 5 adult women who love to have their own room! Plus each of us could have our own bathroom! Lots of good gathering space but plenty of places for solitude. Great hiking. Awesome stay

Lovely house!

This house was the perfect homebase for a weekend reunion with friends. The host is responsive; the house is gorgeous; bathrooms and spare beds abound. It was hard to tear ourselves away from that perfect porch!
