Beautiful location, with spectacular view of the river. The property was quiet, clean and large enough to host two families with teenage children in their own separate area in the basement.The property has all of the basic needs covered with plenty of towels, toiletries and kitchen ware and utensils. Kitchen pans and utensils are plastic and older teflon that weren’t great to cook with. The two king beds were comfortable however the two double beds were basic and squeezed. Bedroom linens and pillows synthetics and could use updating. The furniture is large and good for family gatherings; it is also older, and could use refurbishing. Overall a good family sized cottage. We received communication from the host about the possibility of community members or bylaw enforcement inquiring about the length of our stay. This made it difficult to enjoy our stay worry free.

This is a beautiful cottage with a lovely sandy beach on the river. The kitchen is well laid out and has everything you need. The bathrooms are very well appointed. The deck is huge with plenty of seating. A giant dining room table makes meals easy. Although you feel completely secluded, the cottage is just a short drive to WalMart, Timmie’s, in Pembroke. It’s also a quick trip from Ottawa.The host was easy to deal with and provided lots of information.I would definitely recommend this lovely spot!

It was a great venue to get together with family who lived in the area. It was spotless and fhe host took care of the snowfilled driveway completely.

We loved our recent stay! Having a sandy beach right outside was amazing and allowed our kids plenty of space to hang out and play. The water was cold, but we were expecting that. When the sun finally went down, we all had dinner around the gorgeous dining room table and then followed it up with lots of board games. The space was great for our group of 8. The host was great at communicating with us and had a couple of minor issues fixed for us the morning after I messaged them about it. Honestly, the only downside we all agreed on was the fact that the dining room chairs were really worn out and could use some new cushions. They were a bit uncomfortable to sit in for long amounts of time. All in all, we had a great time and would keep this place in mind for future getaways.

My family really enjoyed this rental. The sleeping areas are quite separated so that everyone was able to have privacy and space. The kitchen is a very good size and well- equipped except for the fact that we could have used more eating utensils. It is spacious and so handy to the eating area. We also loved the stools at the island and actually used them for eating for our two kids a couple times. The air conditioning was very welcome since we were there when temperatures soared to 35 degrees. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the water. A bonus of this place is the wildlife: deer (almost every day), kingfisher, woodpeckers, garter snakes, baby ducks, feeding geese who never ventured onto the beech. Everything was very clean and the bathrooms are especially well-equipped. They look like they have been recently renovated and were a real bonus to our stay. Our host, Chami, was very ready to answer any questions we had and help if needed. We hope too return next year.

We really loved the house and the location. Stunning sunrise views, very comfortable rooms and beds and all the amenities one would wish for. Chami was very helpful with our check in and out directions. Close to Pembroke and shopping and the golf courses we played.

Great getaway

Great set up with full kitchen, new bathrooms, new deck. Spacious family space, and beachfront great to relax or for kids to play.

Great place to stay

The facility was as pictured and advertised. Clean, beautiful location, beautiful views. Lots of parking.We really enjoyed our stay and our visitors were suitably impressed. I highly recommend it.

Kitchen was terasonably well equipped. Bedrooms were fine although spread out. Bathrooms were newer and very clean but a bit small.
