Family friendly beach house 5 mins walk from beach & yacht club.

Located in the heart of beautiful Somers on the Mornington Peninsular, this renovated beach house is within 5 min walk to the yacht club & beach and only a few minutes more to get to the Somers General Store.

The house features open-plan living dining, air-conditioning and a north-facing backyard with a large outdoor entertaining area. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck after a perfect day at the beach or explore the best of the Mornington Peninsula.

The Master bedroom has an en suite. Bedrooms 2 & 3 come with queen beds. The fourth bedroom is made up of bunk beds that sleep 5. It is also set up as a kid's retreat with TV & DVD player, sofa setting and foosball table. All beds come with linen, duvets and pillows. The second bathroom comes with a bath / shower and seperate toilet.

Easy dining with a well-appointed kitchen, dishwasher, oven, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The house has NBN-connected WIFI. Separate laundry with another fridge, washing machine, iron and ironing board and dryer.

Enjoy the best of the Mornington Peninsular, wine and dine out with the Mornington Peninsula's best dining at Point Leo Estate and Jackalope vineyard, both only 10 minutes away. Balnarring Village is a 5-minute drive where you can access the IGA Supermarket, and restaurants or visit the Heritage Hotel / Pub.

So close to the beach, with all the creature comforts you need on a holiday, plus a lovely lawn for the dog.

Fantastic family holiday home

We loved our stay, the house is spacious and very comfortable in a perfect location. The back yard is fully fenced and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Somers with family and friends. The house was comfortable with all we needed and a short walk to beautiful beaches. Also close to shops, wineries and cafes. Highly recommend.

Great time in Somers

There were plenty of things to do on the property, loads of room to spread out. The outdoor area was perfect and we sat out til dark. Close to the beach of parks, cafe nearby all in walking distance.

Family get-away

This property was a perfect find for a quick family get away. Plenty of room for all and backyard was perfect for our dogs. Best fitted out kitchen I have come across - successfully completed all our Xmas baking! Thanks to our hosts!

This house provided everything that catered for comfort & enjoyment both inside & outside of age range of guests. Modern kitchen, new BBQ.back deck was a well used space. Great kids/teenagers wing separated by hallway, games, TV, bunks, beanbags. Back yard croquet, shuttlecock, Boules,was fun for all ages. Beach close by for rock pools, fishing line casting & walks. A great experience - We wld all like to visit again.

What's not to love?!

Yes - like all of those before us, we loved our stay as well. Perfect set up for a largish group. Great outdoor area. We're cooks, and the kitchen was great. We'll be back!

Great getaway.

Had a wonderful weekend away with friends. Gorgeous beach shack in a quiet street close to beach. Very comfortable stay with all the essentials. Dave was really prompt with communication. Would recommend.

Awesome family friendly accommodation

Had a wonderful stay. The house had everything needed and more to make our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The layout is perfect for several families staying together with kids and the secure sun soaked backyard was perfect for our kids to run around. Walking distance from a beautiful little beach that we enjoyed each day. General store also walking distance was great for morning coffees. Thanks again for having us! We would love to come back some time :-)

Great Spring Holiday with family and friends

Such a well stocked, comfy holiday home for family and friends and kids and a dog. The proximity to the beach is wonderful but we spent hours on the deck and yard. Lots of big meals prepared in the big kitchen and everyone had space to play and retreat. Thank you for sharing.

Great place for families

The house ticks all formal boxes: location, lots of space, beds are comfortable, appliances work as expected, kids retreat and outdoor area are second to none! But what we really loved is a vibe there, it feels like you’re visiting a friend’s house and they just stepped out for a moment. Lots of details and personal touches, it is not a standard soulless rental. Thank you David, hope we’ll be back soon!

Sensational Somers Shacking

What a brilliant holiday house! It has absolutely everything and more required for a fun, family stay in beautiful Somers. The host was fabulous throughout the process with great communication and comprehensive information. The house was super clean and spacious and the backyard is perfect for a BBQ and backyard cricket. Such a wonderful stay, only wish it was longer - thanks muchly!

Perfect family getaway

This is out second time at this place in Somers and it’s perfect for a family getaway. The location is perfect with a minute walk to the beach, 3mins to the coffee shop and Balnarrings shops 5mins drive away. It may be luck but each visit, we’ve spotted dolphins! The kitchen is well stocked for big, shared family meals and we love having breakfast outside with the sun streaming on the back verandah. The rooms are well laid out and the huge kids’ room is conveniently a bit separated. We have been here in warmer and cooler weather and it’s breezy or cosy as required. The hosts are responsive and seem lovely.

Family friendly house, great location

Stylish renovated house that was great for kids and the family dog, with a wonderful lawn for everyone to relax and play. Owners also provided extra amenities such as cricket set, lawn croquet set etc. which was nice. Great position with only a short walk to the beach. Check in process was seamless and owners even provided a little welcome treat (local biscuits, chocolate and milk) on arrival. Only possible downside is that there in minimal cell phone reception in most rooms of the house (3G) and couldn't contact the owner when there was an issue with the internal router. Wouldn't recommend if needing to be connected to the internet or as a "working from home" option but it is perfect for a family holiday otherwise.
