Rebecca, we’re so glad you enjoyed Laurel Highlands, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following: - As our property is located in the mountains, AC is not common in most homes. The week before your arrival, it was chilly and snowed at the beginning of May. We apologize for the inconvenience as our home has never been advertised with AC. - We appreciate your feedback regarding updates to our property. We have plans to make improvements every time we go to our home to ensure we stay up to date. We have mirrors in every bedroom and bathroom. We plan to put in a full-length one as well. - We passed your feedback along to our cleaners regarding the odor and the cleanliness of the carpets. There is a lavender plug on both levels to bring in the summer feeling. The carpet is deep-cleaned every year as it is nice to have the coziness during the cold winter months. The cleaners verified they do not use powder on the carpet and are unaware of any messes prior to your stay. - Thank you for your positive comment on the toiletries. We just switched to a new distributor and are so happy you like them and the stocked coffee bar! - We switch the bedding, and sheets and purchased new pillows in the summer season for deep cleaning and comfort! We take pride in our home making it clean and comfortable for our guests. We will look into the bed frames and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We hope you come back to visit the Laurel Highlands again and experience the beauty!
