The property was incredible. Such an amazing oasis far away from the rest of the world. We absolutely loved our time at Woodside.

It was hard to find on the back roads,I would"t say it was pet friendly as dogs can go through the fence where the cows are. To access upstairs need to be able to manage stairs.No curtains down stairs.You are an hour away from Yarragon!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am puzzled by your comments. Map applications and written material provided provide an abundance of assistance to find the property if needed. We are indeed welcoming of pets but do not provide a fenced enclosure for them outside. All bedrooms are upstairs and have very good blinds . We have chosen not to provide blinds in the downstairs windows as those windows offer first class views of the surrounding area , and the situation of the house means there is no privacy requirements .

Relaxing stay

We had a fantastic stay at Liz's property. Very cozy with the fire, and it had everything we needed. The view in the morning was a beautiful thing to wake up to!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Very cosy and beautiful views! We had a relaxing time, going for walks and to the trout farm, playing board games by the fire etc.. host was very helpful and kind.

Paradise amongst the trees

What a beautiful location. Perfect place to get away from it all. Great location and great amenities, everything you need. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful country retreat

So cosy , comfortable and clean. All the creature comforts were supplied and plenty of games and books to keep the kids entertained. Beautiful views. Very relaxing little break.

Private getaway amongst stunning surrounds

Woodside is a gorgeous property far away from the hustle and bustle. We felt so relaxed and secluded, and enjoyed the wood fire and the campfire outside. Property information was very comprehensive and communication with the hosts excellent - thanks very much for a wonderful few days!

Lovely experience

It was a nice, relaxing getaway. Location is beautiful and serene, kids had so much fun exploring the property and the countryside, including Toorongo Falls, Alpine Trout Farm & Mt Baw Baw. Liz was a great host and the holiday home is very quaint and cozy. Would recommend!

This beautiful little rammed earth getaway is tucked into the edge of a forest with farmland views through large multiple windows. It made a perfect little private hideaway. Our doggo loved it too, exploring the huge amount of smells on the property which had a little bushwalk of it's own. We had cold rainy weather but with the brilliant wood heater we felt warm and dry. Beds were comfortable, plenty of comfy lounges. The kitchen was practical. The shower lacked water pressure, the washing machine seemed to struggle to finish a cycle.Overall, would recommend for a fun little adventure destination away from the city hustle and bustle.

Countryside paradise

Our family of 5 and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vesper. The property is stunning. The cows came up the the house in the evening to say hello and the wild deer honked as they trotted by. The kids were entertained with board games and DVDs and the adults enjoyed the vast CD collection (almost identical to the collection we once had!). We had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Thank you.

Beautiful place to relax and restore

This charming rammed earth cottage is set in such a tranquil spot with lovely views in all directions. Some natural bush on the property and lots of great walks nearby. Very comfortable beds and sofas and two living areas gave space for our family with adult daughters as well as room for us all to gather. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so restful. Had everything we needed except washing machine/dryer were out of action for our stay. Telstra coverage was good in evenings and early morning but dropped away during the day which was odd- but helped with the relaxing! Absolutely loved our stay here.
