This was a wonderful opportunity to stay in a historic home with all the cool features and history of an old stone house with modernized conveniences. We were minutes away from dining options. We highly recommend a side trip to nearby Arrowtown.

Neat place to stay in Queenstown. The location is great and only a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants - just make sure you don’t mind walking up a hill to get back. It is a little rustic inside, but that is part of the charm. It is clean and well supplied and the beds are very comfortable. We loved our stay!

A great house to stay in Queenstown

This accomodation is a brilliant place to stay, we stayed for 5 night, the place is very clean, a great size for families, we are a family of 4 our kids are in their 20’s we never felt on top of each other, it’s large enough and having 3 bathrooms is fantastic The seperate lounge room with open fireplace was a great addition The walk into town is quick, the return not so quick, but a great workout! I thoroughly recommend this accomodation, we will be back next year for sure !

Great Location but ...

Many roads / paths that would have made going into the CBD were closed due to construction, making both walking and driving difficult.

What a shame the beds are of very poor quality. You could feel the springs and a slit exposed the interior of 3cm foam, thin polyester wrapped around steel wire frame and exposed springs. It easily sagged like a hammock which was especially bad for the couple on the larger bed. I could easily fold the single in half. Made by Ferryway likely the commercial division. All others on their site looked like quality. Four nights of switching beds, consolidating linens&duvets to make more comfortable, ultimately moving to sofa in lounge which was infested with bedbugs that really did a number on me the last night. I appreciated the nice mattress pads delivered by the manager but it did not fix the underlying problem of a bad mattress. The house, location, amenities, cleanliness, and quick initial response from manager was great. But this is Queenstown, a tourism gem for NZ. A good nights sleep is so important, you can't go cheap on the beds! I'd return if they sorted the beds.
