Our idyllic Garden Home is paradise for nature lovers seeking outside charm! Nestled in the southern part of quaint Victoria, this fully furnished 2 bedroom + sofa bed home offers private serenity in its several outdoor spaces. Stepping into the fenced front yard, guests are welcomed by a greenhouse and luscious garden beds. The expansive open-air back patio and large but cosy enclosed deck are both ideal for entertaining. Those wishing for a tranquil escape will enjoy sitting beneath the birdcage gazebo. Inside, the immaculate kitchen is fully equipped for guests to express their culinary creativity. Our Garden Home is located in the highly desirable Fairfield/Gonzales area, offering easy access to many parks and beaches, including the picturesque Gonzales Bay. With downtown just a 30-minute walk away, our location is ideal for living, working, and exploring the city and we love to share our home with discerning guests who appreciate quality and tranquility.

Great getaway for young families

Stayed here with my 3 year old and 18 month old. The floor plan worked really well as everything was on the same level. The kids loved the garden to run around in and explore. Would stay here again.

Warm and welcoming

We arrived for a two week stay in November, the weather cool but the house cosy and very comfortable. The rooms were attractively furnished and the kitchen very efficient, well equipped, and elegantly designed. The location was perfect for us, with ocean walks, gardens, interesting shops and restaurants within easy driving distance distance. We would certainly like to return.

February in the Gonzales Beach area!

We enjoyed our stay in the Gonzales Beach area. The house was modern, clean and everything was good quality, including bedding, kitchen appliances and dishes, etc. We loved the area as it was walking distance to the beach, shopping on Oak Bay Avenue and a short drive to the downtown. Miriam was so helpful during the booking process as well as greeting us when we arrived. We completely enjoyed our month in Victoria and hope to do it again next year. See you then, Miriam! Wonderful Experience in Victoria

We stayed at this wonderful house from Monday to Friday. We were 4 adults and one 7-month-old baby. We had a great time. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. It has a great kitchen and two very comfortable bedrooms. It had very spacious patios with lovely furniture. The location is great. Close enough to down town, the shore line, restaurants and so on. The neighborhood is quiet. Finally, Miriam is very helpful and accommodating. Bottom line, the place is highly recommended.

Short Break to Victoria

This was my first time staying in an VRBO. I was impressed by the host, Miriam’s great service. She checked in with me twice by email and then again via phone on the day of arrival to make sure everything was ok and answer any questions, she also answered my emails. I thought that was very professional and appreciated the extra steps she took to make sure we were happy. Miriam also allowed me to check in early which was very considerate and helpful. The house overall is cozy but a bit smaller than I expected, and IMO, ideally best suited for 2 people. The bathroom is very small, feels European in size. That said, it is laid out well, maximizing the space, and that is something I would say can be applied to the entire place. In reference to the bathroom, towels are supplied as is shampoo & conditioner as listed, however I was surprised to find no soap or body wash to use in the shower. As for the rest of the space, there is a nice comfortable sitting area at the front of the house where the tv is located. The tv is a smart tv which is a nice bonus, however I wish there had been some basic instructions for using the tv as well as the a/c/ heat pump. The kitchen is nicely laid out and well stocked with kitchen necessities including basics like sugar, salt & pepper, oil, tea/coffee, spices, etc which definitely saves someone from bringing their whole kitchen with them! 😄 The washer/dryer set up is European style, and located in the kitchen. Laundry soap is supplied. There’s quite a few spots in the nice garden to sit and relax, but I would recommend that the chairs and tables be washed down as it looked like a few needed some cleaning. Location wise, it’s a good location to be in as you are not far from City Centre, but you are far enough to enjoy the quiet of a peaceful, safe residential area. Also, if you are like me and prefer to be away from the bustle of downtown, it’s ideal as you are only 5 min to beautiful Oak Bay village, and 10 min to Cook St Village. If you are looking for easy, quick serve meal options to take home, be sure to check out the Root Cellar in Cook St Village, and Red Barn or Fairway Market in Oak Bay. All three have some great ready to go healthy options! As I had my little dog with me, the area was very conducive to nice walks, including a great green space just up the road that had a popular dog park. It was a great stay overall and a positive first experience in a VRBO!

Very well equipped

Miriam, the owner so easy to communicate with. Property exceeded expectations. Very clean, very well equipped and nicely decorated. We had a micro wedding and an evening casual dinner after. The outside areas were perfect for our group and Miriam very gracious in allowing this get together. Very highly recommended.

Home from home

Excellent, spotlessly clean, fully stocked, amazing gardens and outdoor space to enjoy. Very friendly and welcoming host. Located between beach and three quaint shopping and entertainment villages. Highly recommended.

Garden oasis!

Great location- peaceful property a short walk to Gonzalez Beach. All the amenities for a meal at home, including a wide selection of wine glasses! Super clean and comfortable beds, linens and heated bathroom floor. Sure hope to return :)

Perfect place in Victoria

This home is really pretty. The garden is gorgeous and it was perfect for a few days in Victoria. It is minutes away from downtown and situated in a nice neighborhood. Miriam was very welcoming and friendly. She even delivered coffee to our doorstep to ensure we had enough during our stay. We felt welcome and would definitely stay here again if we travel to Victoria.

Beautiful property!

The home, gardens, location, everything was perfect. Neighborhood was great for walking, easy access to all of the sites we wanted to see. The kitchen was perfect, stocked with everything I could imagine needing and more. Only problem, we had to leave way too soon. Thanks to Miriam the check in process was so easy. She was there to show us where everything was and how it all worked! Loved our time there!!

A Lovely Neighbourhood

The house and property are fabulous. I lot of thought has been put into making the house comfortable for guests. You don’t lack for anything from an umbrella to laundry facilities. It has it all.
