Serenity Bay Studio 4

On the same property as Serenity Bay Cottages, Big House, is a 4 plex, with four studio apartments. Each about 250 sq. ft. Two face the water and two face the street. Studio #4 is water facing, it has a queen sized bed, kitchen with large convection oven, two burner cook-top, microwave, toaster and 9 cu. ft. fridge. Relax on your deck, which is steps away from the sea wall and fire pit, wait for the dolphins to come out and play while enjoying the gorgeous sunset. Room is stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans, as well as linens and towels. Included are the use of kayaks, as well as laundry facilities, WiFi, smart tv's offer commercial free Hulu Plus, an antennae provides for CBS, NBC, ABC, ect. No cable is offered in the 4-plex.

relaxing weekend getaway

Had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary. Property was as described. Enjoyed sitting out on the dock in the evenings. Super cute place! Owner was friendly and helpful with check in and giving us some local tips.

Close to restaurants

On the main road - be sure to get one of the units in the back. Bed was comfortable. Needs a better chair to sit on and could use a little sprucing up on the back deck, but overall good value.

Wonderful

We are sorry to be checking out today, we should have booked for longer. The cottage is charming, quaint and very clean. Everything we need is provided. The little town is amazing particularly the art galleries and gardens. We just loved it, thank you Sharon

Anniversary trip

Great for a weekend getaway! Great location on the bay where dolphins come and play! Very relaxing ending the day around the fire pit. Sharon is a great host!

Beautiful waterfront place in a quaint little colorful town.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Quaint little colorful town with plenty of restaurants and cute litte shops. Right on the water with kayaks and plenty of fishing supplies. Nice fire pit to relax or fish by. We had such a great time we are coming back for mother's day with my son and his wife.

Enjoyable stay

Accomodations were great for two adults. Proximity to road slightly annoying but not a show stopper. We've already booked for 2023!

Matlacha great too short vacation

The property was great, well equipped, clean, with a beautiful view of the water. The bed was so comfy, I even asked what was the brand. We left to spend a day in the rat race around Key West, but should have enjoyed another relaxing calming day here!

We enjoyed our stay at Serenity Bay. Unit 4 has a great water view. The back yard is amazing. The room was great and very clean. Sharon met us at the property and was very helpful. It was our first visit to Matlacha and we hope we can get back. Thanks!

Quiet and peaceful

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Saw dolphin, eagles, egrets and a host of other birds. Kayaking amongst the mangroves is always fun. Sharon is a wonderful host.

Restful stay in Matlacha

Fully enjoyed our stay. The pros include the apartment was cosy and cute, well organized (get one facing the water), loved the kayaking, great restaurants all within walking distance, great view, good laundry facilities, Sharon was very friendly and helpful. Only two negatives, the walls are not sound proof, we could hear loud early risers on a couple of days. Other negative, watch out for the no-see-ums at dusk, we got bit the first night when sitting by the dock and bug spray didn’t help, wear jeans. Walking into the restaurants in shorts in the evening was fine - it was just near the water that they come out.

The Best View

We had a fantastic time in Matlacha while staying at Serenity Cottages. Our facilities were exactly as we had hoped. We had everything we needed to make our visit comfortable and relaxing.... The view onto the water is absolutely beautiful. Sharon is a good host. It's clear she works hard to ensure her guests have a pleasant stay. I will return to Matlacha soon and will again stay at Serenity Cottages.

It was my parents property, they purchased it in 2001. I had been running it for my Dad since my Mom passed away in 2009. There are too many family memories here for me to let it go. I feel my Mom with me when I'm at Serenity Bay. Plus I love Dolphins!

Quiet sanctuary in a unique area of Florida that remains lost in time. Slow, peaceful pace here. Nature all around, friendly faces. Awesome fishing! Little to no boat traffic off sea-wall. No people staring back at your from other properties, just water and mangroves as far as the eye can see. That means you will see a lot more wildlife here.
