Great stay again at tis property with friends. Very comfy with lots of character and a quick walk into town and the Beechworth Bakery. We toured out into the Yarra valley for a couple of wine tastings and enjoyed the fact that we were no more than a 20min drive back to the house. Also had a couple of fires over the weekend which we all enjoyed! Will definitely come again!

Wonderful house in a perfect location

The house is on a quiet road a short walk away from Healesville, beautiful home with appreciated small extras such as tea, coffee and essentials for cooking. Wonderful huge back garden which our little dog loved. Lovely verandah to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine over looking the hills beyond. Easy checkin, great communication from the host, would highly recommend

2 Nights in Healesville

Our group of 4 (one couple, one 2 year old and one senior) stayed for two nights. Heating and fireplace were fantastic, lovely backyard and plenty of kids toys and board games to keep everyone entertained. TV area is small but that was fine as we spent most of our time in front of the fire. Easy stroll for a coffee or supermarket (5-10mins) and about a 10min drive to the sanctuary

Pretty garden

Stayed there because our daughter was getting married in a Yarra Valley vineyard. Close to Healsville. Very quiet location. House compact. New bathrooms, very clean. Great shops in Healsville. Abundant bird life. Lovely trees, especially the maple & rhododendrons. Underfloor heating was great, as it was very cold at night & mornings.

In the Heart of Healesville

An immaculately clean property set in beautiful gardens with a large secure backyard. The whimsical artwork throughout the house complimented the warm and inviting furnishings. We all enjoyed the fireplace each evening of our stay- and the ducted heating vents kept the rest of the house toasty and comfortable. I’d highly recommend staying if you have the opportunity! My only quibble would be the lighting in the kitchen is insufficient- we moved a bedside lamp to the bench for the duration. Thank you to the hosts for a comfortable stay which exceeded expectations

Healsville House

Beds comfortable, house very clean, just a bit of trouble trying to regulate hot water in bathrooms, not too bad in summer, could be a major problem in Winter. The possums are very noisy at night, especially when your not aware of them. Cute but noisy on roof. Needs an extra TV maybe in front of dining room.

Providing more information at the property

Had problems with water.. it was either not warm enough to use or insuffient to enable us to have a reasonable shower. Needed much clearer information as to how to use it! Information should be provided in writing at the property as not all guests will be able to receive emails when travelling!
