From booking to arrival, simply put, a wonderful experience. Our host Tyler allowed me to be excited from day one and was available to answer all my questions. Truly a home away from home.

Beautiful propriety with an amazing view. We enjoyed the roomy patio and the waterfront fire pit. The place was thoughtfully equipped and very cozy for our girls getaway. Thank you so much to the host !

Great location, wonderful view, very welcoming and good for dogs. Cleanliness in question. I communicated with the owner. He will “speak to” cleaning staff. Unacceptably dirty bath mat, bed pillow shams and duvets, dirty dishes put away in cupboards. Overcrowded small rooms. I got pictures. Soft, saggy and squeaky main bed.

Great stay, although the weather was colder then we expected (although it was March) we enjoyed our time there and so did our pets as they had plenty of room to run outdoors. Well equipped with supply. Highly recommended!

Great location

The waterfront location was lovely, and the cabin just big enough to suit our needs. It provided a nice base to explore New Brunswick for a few days.

Our family of four had a fun and relaxing mini vaca here! Very clean, peaceful, with gorgeous scenery! Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage

We spend aug 4-7, 2025 and it is a beautiful cottage. The view is amazing and Tyler and Caroline pay attention to every detail to ensure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely rent it again.

Lovely cottage! Air conditioned.Kitchen equipped well. Easy day trips to all the sights. We loved that we could bring our dog with us. He had a great stay too!

Cottage was wonderful (and the sunrises were phenomenal!) and had everything we needed. Well located and served as a great base for our time in NB.

Beautiful family vacay

Cottage was exactly as advertised, very well appointed. Our teenagers and little dog absolutely loved the water. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return for a longer stay.

A little bit of New Brunswick

Perfect location to visit areas within 2 hours of Moncton. Being right on the water was peaceful. Property clean and bright with amazing decor. Had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again!

Easy Stay

We enjoyed our brief stay at The Salty Dog. It was fresh, clean and comfortable. Beautiful view and a nice taste of quiet New Brunswick cottage life. Would easily recommend.

The Salty Dog

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Salty Dog. The view of the bay is so relaxing. Nice big fire pit. Hosts were very attentive.

The Salty Dog Was Wonderful

Loved everything about The Salty Dog, from the cottage to the view. We had perfect weather and enjoyed both mornings having coffee on the deck watching the birds and herons glide over the clear calm water. Loved it so much and plan to go back.

Beautiful peaceful spot

Watched the eclipse from this gorgeous little cottage. Very clean and well appointed. Super peaceful with phenomenal sunrises!! Very dog friendly as well as human friendly.

Beautiful, quiet oceanfront cottage.

Picturesque two bedroom cottage with ocean view, huge front lawn and immaculate inside. Nice fire pit. Amazing spot! Hope to get back sometime.

Stay at Salty Dog

Very nice propert and location. Conveniently situated in a qhiet area to enjoy some peace and quiet but close enough to Shediac and Moncton to enjoy all the area has to offer. Everything we expected.

Great Summer Stay

We had a great time at the Salty Dog! They provided everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. Our friends from Ontario absolutely loved being on the water. We brought our dogs as well and they had a wonderful time playing in the yard!

Perfect home base for our NB vacation

My family spent a week at the Salty Dog and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect home base — a beautiful spot for morning coffees and family dinners overlooking the cocagne bay, and a short drive to so many great beaches and attractions (including Hopewell Rocks). Our kids and dog loved running around the big grassy yard and wading in the bay. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Bonus points for the AC which was a life saver during a heat wave.
