Sinnamon’s Cottage | Pet-friendly heritage stay in Maldon

Step back in time at Sinnamon’s Cottage, a character-filled circa-1890 miner’s cottage in the heart of historic Maldon. The cafés, shops and heritage attractions of Main Street are only a five-minute stroll away.

The entire cottage is yours to enjoy. It sleeps up to four guests in two comfortable queen bedrooms, with all linen and towels supplied. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, quality crockery and glassware, free Wi-Fi, Netflix, laundry facilities and a barbecue.

Stay cosy beside the wood fire during winter, or relax in the cottage’s peaceful outdoor spaces during the warmer months. Reverse-cycle heating and cooling provide year-round comfort. Guests are also welcome to enjoy herbs and vegetables from the garden when available.

Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. The yard is fully fenced, although dogs that are skilled jumpers or escape artists should not be left outside unsupervised. If your dog joins you on the furniture, please bring a sheet or blanket to protect it.

Whether you are planning a relaxing weekend, exploring Victoria’s Goldfields or attending one of Maldon’s seasonal events, Sinnamon’s Cottage offers a comfortable heritage stay close to everything.

Best cottage ever!!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, with thoughtful touches like a bath bomb and soap to use, leaving the heating on so the house was warm when i arrived. Magnificent place to stay, so close to wonderful walks and the lovely town. The host was very thoughtful and considerate. Cant wait to stay again!

Wonderful getaway

The house was gorgeous, photos online don’t do it justice. We had a great mini stay doing walks around Maldon with our 2 boys. Such a fascinating little town. The house is so well appointed, we were so comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for having us!

Old town Maldon

Such a great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the main street with shops and lovely friendly locals. The house is very comfortable, clean with the perfect mix of old world and modern facilities. The garden was an adventure for our dog. He had a fantastic time with the chickens.

Lovely cottage, great location

The cottage is very nicely set up with lots of nice touches - flowers everywhere, fire laden, tea, coffee etc supplied, instructions for working things. Added bonus of hen house with fresh eggs every morning. Beautiful rambling garden with everything in flower. Well fenced for our dog who lived all the paths

Beautiful cottage, close to the main town

We immediately felt at home here in the heritage cottage and gorgeous gardens that were filled with fruit trees. The beds were comfy with fancy linen and the appliances were top range. The highlight was the shower, which was like a waterfall, and the deep claw foot bath. Divine. It was a couple of minutes walk to the main street where we fell in love with Le Sel's chocolate croissants. Highly recommended, and we would stay here again.

Magic spot

When I entered the cottage,I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Cottage is perfect in every way. Comfortable beds, spa bath, fresh eggs from the chickens, lemons on the tree for my gin and tonic, beautiful garden. One word to say, PERFECT. Great to meet Jamie. Very helpful.

Sweet country cottage

Everything has been thought of at the cottage, from the welcoming lights to the comfy cushions on the porch. Even the resident chooks are thoughtful and generous with their eggs. We had a lovely weekend, catching up on some relaxing and wandering into the village of Maldon which is a short stroll away. Thanks for a great stay.

Magical Maldon

Beautiful cottage that was cosy and warm. The styling is perfectly rustic with antique touches coupled with delightfully modern everyday needs. Clean, easy check in and out and a skip to town. Great anniversary stay

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary as we were married at this cottage 2 years ago. Once again a wonderful stay. Great property and close to the shops.

Home away from home

This property has been well maintained and clean through out. We loved the warm homely feel of the house which included all modern comforts with a sense of the past. location was excellent being able to walk every where.
