Via convenient self-check-in, enter the upper floor of Family Oasis, an expansive split level (lower floor is occupied, but no spaces are shared), an open-plan kitchen/dining/living-room area.

Guest Access:

On a quiet street in Worcester’s Greendale neighborhood. Guests have exclusive access to entire upper floor and, except for the shed, and to the backyard (subject to yard and pool maintenance).

Check-in access: No fumbling with keys; self-check-in is available with a digital keypad. We’re available for an orientation face-to-face or by FaceTime.

Parking: One off-street space is provided in your private driveway and is your private parking space. Plenty of on-street parking is available except in winter (12/1-4/30, from 2 am-6 am, and during declared parking bans from City due to snow), during which we can provide one additional guest parking space in the Host's driveway. EV Charger is Wallbox 48Amps; vehicles may not be charged through other means.

Other Details

Cameras: Three security cameras in backyard record exterior of the home, yard and pool. A doorbell camera is on the front doors. Front security cameras on NE and SE corners. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting, or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and will result in full forfeiture of the security deposit and may, at the owner’s discretion, result in the guests being ejected without refund for remaining nights’ rents.

Bathroom Note: The bathroom includes a traditional bathtub/shower combination that requires stepping over the tub wall to enter. Grab bars are provided, but guests with mobility or balance concerns should consider whether this arrangement will meet their needs.

-- ZenZone Gardens is a 1,300 sq. ft. home that is designed and optimized for a high-comfort overnight stay for up to registered guests.
-- To ensure you have plenty of room to lounge and dine, we provide proper indoor seating for six (four at the dining table and two at the kitchen island).
-- While the interior is best suited for up to six, our 1,200 sq. ft.+ hardscaped patio and pool are perfect for small daytime gatherings.
-- From Memorial Day through November, you are welcome to have up to visitors (a total of ten people -- guests and visitors -- on the property) during the day (7:00 AM – 11:00 PM), enabling you to host a peaceful poolside brunch or afternoon without the house feeling 'crowded’ or the Worcester noise ordinance violated. No more than a total of six people, guests and visitors, in the other months, unless otherwise agreed.

Additional $30 per diem fee for guests, after the first two guests

No smoking/vaping whatsoever anywhere on the property. Even if you smoke outside the smoke clings to your body and clothes, tainting upholstery and bedding, necessitating costs to remove the smell. That isn't fair to future guests looking for a non-smoking rental.

The upper and lower floors are totally separate, each with a private entrance and private driveway. Your backyard is private.

Co-host is on-site (no shared spaces) and available 24/7 to meet your needs

If you’d like to order groceries, say from Instacart, for your arrival day, we’ll take in your groceries and put them in the refrigerator/freezer, or on the counter for you. Just let us know two days' ahead so we can be sure to be home for the time frame you select (starting at or after 1 pm). No extra charge. If you need a kitchen appliance that’s not on the premises, ask host to see if one is available to borrow.

Hydronic baseboard heating is silent and dust free

All fabrics are washed with unscented detergents, no fabric softeners or dryer sheets; all pre-soaked for 17 minutes with Lysol Sanitizer.

If you’d like to ship anything (boxes no more than 25 lbs.) in advance, feel free to arrange with us. Ask host for address information, and we’ll have your packages inside for you when you arrive.

Gardener needs brief access inside to water houseplants for stays longer than a week. For stays longer than two weeks a housecleaning is required every two weeks and the cleaning fee is additional.

Swimming pool opens Memorial Day through September 15, depending on the weather, at which time outside furniture is put out (Memorial Day) or stored (September) though two Adirondack chairs are out all year long. "Fire pit" is a Zen fire table, available in summer. There's no way to maintain the yard and pool without maintaining them: workers may be in yard/pool on weekday mornings for maintenance.

Pool Heating: The pool can be heated to about 81°F during normal swimming hours (generally 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM) when weather conditions are conducive to pool use. Because guest usage and weather conditions vary, the pool is not continuously maintained at that temperature throughout every reservation, particularly during periods of cool weather. If you expect to use the pool, please let us know and we’ll gladly have it heated and ready for your enjoyment. A few hours’ notice is appreciated.

To help maintain water temperature and conserve energy, the solar cover should be placed on the pool whenever it will not be used
