Another Enjoyable Stay

We always enjoy our stay at Clifford’s Place! It’s peaceful and quaint :) I love watching the deer graze in the evening and taking the grandkids to the creek to feed the turtles. Also the hosts are super nice! :)

Great place

This place was exactly what we were looking for. 2 nice bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean and the owners were super nice and helpful. Nice outdoor area covered and uncovered. Walking path right out back was nice too.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bruce and Marilyn had the property in beautiful condition. It was well stocked and their communication was topnotch. We will definitely plan our next trip when the property is available.

Cozy Cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to be within minutes of our son and his family. The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. We enjoyed seeing the deer from the back porch and taking a walk to the creek. The interior of Clifford’s place was cozy and comfy. Would definitely return for another visit :)

Beautiful house

The house has many lovely details such as rain shower head. Convenient location. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Every morning saw deer. Comfortable beds and decent wifi. Many TV channels. Well provisioned kitchen.

This place is awesome! Very clean, everything you need is there, the hosts communicated in a timely manner and were very friendly when we arrived. They live next door and I’m sure if we needed anything they would have taken care of it right away. We did not have any issues. This cottage is 100 years old and was taken down to the studs for renovations. Excellent quality decor, so pretty inside! We loved sitting in the recliners with the fireplace on, watching movies while it rained. You are within 30-45 minutes of Shelbyville and Lynchburg, both cities having cute downtown squares with shops and restaurants.

This is the place to be when you can't be in your own home. Everything you need and then some is in this stunning home.Marilyn and Bruce are exceptional hosts. Both are charming and knowledgeable. Be sure you ask for the Clifford history.The house is spotless. The beds and linens feel like you are in a 5* resort. The bathrooms are big, the towels are soft. The kichen is a cooks dream- I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to cook a meal. The living area is comfortable and beautiful. The back porch is where I would live if I could. Every room was stocked with amenities, I truly was impressed. Thank you for being so caring of your guests. If you need a rental in the Lewisburg area, you can't go wrong with this beautiful home. My vacation felt like I was visiting my favorite Aunts house!**I forgot to take pictures, but it is exactly as you see on the listing.
