Modern home decorated with a beach theme that is warm and inviting. It's mainly suitable for 4 people. The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated and feature plush queen size beds and soft linens, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the area.
The the living room features a queen sofa bed if you need the extra sleeping space. There is also a comfy chair, flat screen TV with Roku and a view of the ocean.
The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and has everything you need to whip up delicious meals for family and friends. The dining table has room for four adults.
The bathroom is clean and modern, with a shower and plenty of fresh towels.
Outside, the cottage has a covered deck where you can sip your morning coffee or watch the sunset over the water with your favorite beverage. There's also a BBQ and outdoor seating, making it ideal for outdoor dining.
There's something for everyone here. And of course, there's the beach! Port Hood is the beach capital of Cape Breton. 5 Beaches only minutes away and 2 are within walking distance. An Awesome Relaxing Stay
The Host provided us with everything we needed and more!
We never had to call for anything.
We needed a place for 5 adults and place to sleep and fuel up for a big family get together

Cottage although space constrained was well equipped and nicely decorated. Beds were wonderful and linens lovely. Perfect fur our needs!

The place is really great. There's a spacious patio where we had washer toss games. The shed was full of beach stuff. It's best suited for 4,but the 6 of us were fine.Love the thoughtfulness in the provision of things you might forget,including for the pets.Got to goto Chase the Ace at the fire department where we were truly welcomed by the people from the community. Thank you. We loved our stau at the Sandcastle in the Hood.

We enjoyed a comfortable, peaceful stay in this charming house in Port Hood. The views are lovely and the beach is a short walk away. During our two week stay we were able to get to most of Cape Breton including Port Hawkesbury, Chéticamp, St. Ann’s, Mabou, Judique and Inverness. The host and property manager were gracious and accessible. I would stay here again.

What a wonderful spot to spend a vacation.We were welcomed to a clean, cozy cottage with great views of the ocean.Everything , as far as decor went, was picture perfect...like looking thru a Cottage Life Magazine photo shoot.The host was responsive & even checked in after our arrival, to make sure we were happy with everything. We are from Halifax and have extensive experience in the Hotel industry, however this is our first go at hosting our own property.

We were first introduced to this area by friends that have a camp nearby. The trails and scenery make for beautiful hiking and biking. We love the beach life so it just made sense to have a beach cottage that we could share with others.
