LAKEFRONT REFUGE TO ENJOY NATURE'S SERENITY

*Please note: Rates appear higher this year b/c vrbo now includes all additional fees in the daily booking rather than adding them on at the end. Our rates have not increased in 3 years.

Large Lakefront property with spectacular unobstructed views of Lake Harmony (has been quoted by previous guests as the best on the Lake). Our rustic 4 bedroom, 2.5 Bath home has been updated and is ready for your arrival. Many lovely meals can be prepared and enjoyed on the outdoor deck with access to a family size Weber Gas Grill. Enjoy a fun-filled day with use of 3 kayaks, canoe and paddle board (life vests included) from our lakefront dock. Also there is horseshoes, cornhole and a sweet Little Tikes turtle sandbox. Water skiing & raft riding are available with the amazing Captain Rob of Lake Harmony Watersports. For those wanting more adventure, many hiking and biking trails, white water rafting and tubing are available in nearby Jim Thorpe. For the little ones, Kalahari & Camelback (less than 30 minutes away) are 2 of the best water parks in the Northeast according to USA Today. Golf is also within 10 minutes at the beautiful Jack Frost National Golf Club or Split Rock Resort. Indoor fun continues with DVD's, board games, foosball, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Arcade Game, puzzles, books and Cable TV. There's six restaurants within 10 minutes and many more within 20 minutes. After a day of fun, spend time relaxing with family and friends around the lakefront fire pit while enjoying the beautiful sunset. Access to property is by private road in front of house.

Our Rental Agreement with specific details about the requested booking will be forwarded upon acceptance.

Great property! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, and the house was absolutely immaculate. We spent a ton of time on the lake, and when the weather turned rainy, the closet full of board games was a huge hit. Bill was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay — we would happily return again!

This house had a spectacular view with easy access to the lake just across a shared road to neighboring houses. The house is well stocked to make it easy to move right in with your family for a short time. We cooked our meals and had all the basic cookware needed (and more...). The house is laid out functionally to maximize the space and having living space for all the people that may be staying there. The view is fantastic from virtually every part of the house. It is rustic, but certainly clean with great attention to detail to help you be able to settle quickly. We were especially grateful for access to the kayaks, canoe, and Stand-Up Paddle Board. It was difficult to tear ourselves away at the end. If I could have given Bill 10 stars for communication I would have- he was very accessible at every stage of the rental process.

I brought my wife and three kids along with a couple of friends and enjoyed a relaxful time at Bill's lakehouse. The house was as advertised and we scored with the weather, which made it a fun stay. The place was easy to find and Bill was very attentive to questions and concerns. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and for grilling. The place was clean and everything worked just fine. The area was quiet towards the evening but it did get a bit busy on the lake during the day. There were many people on boats and jet skis, which made it a bit challenging to take out the canoe and kayaks with jet skis and speed boats passing through with some party boats. We were hoping to be able to do some fishing but because of the jet skis and boats, we weren't successful unless we went early morning or late evening. Other than that, if you're just looking to enjoy a good time by a nice lake, this spot is pretty nice.

The views were magnificent! The house decor was so perfect for the lake and mountains. Had such a wonderful and relaxing time. First time renting a place and we would stay here again in the warmer weather next time.

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view

We had a great time during our stay. The view is phenomenal and it never got old waking up, drinking coffee and looking at the lake. Bill, the owner, was very responsive and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing views, perfect home

The house was just gorgeous. Great location and all the amenities you need. We loved this place and will def be back with friends! Loved how close it was to trails, taverns, and the front property along the lake.

Great Lakefront Home

An amazing home, comfortable & clean, and the owner was very nice. I will be booking a week next year and this house has the best view of the Lake. Our family truly enjoyed the week.

Relaxing Stay

Even though we didn't have the best weather for being by the lake, we really enjoyed the house, views and deck. Nothing was lacking in the house, beds were quite comfy, and views were spectacular, with sunrise out the big front windows downstairs and up!

Perfect getaway

The views of the lake were the best elixir! Needed to relax and unplug and the house was perfect for this.

Great week!

We had a great week at Lake Harmony, the property was as described, check in was easy, house was clean, in good order with everything we needed. Communication with the owners was prompt. No issues - would stay here again! We loved being on Lake Harmony and the access to the lake on property.

Summer Getaway

Best location on the lake, quiet, low traffic and wonderful sunrise views. House was sized perfect, great for extended family gatherings and families with children as well. Nice relaxing week of hiking, swimming, fishing, and cooking. Host was wonderful, already talking about our next visit.

Beautiful house in a great location!

The house was very neat, clean and cozy. Beautiful lake views and great set up for a family weekend getaway. We came for a ski weekend but are seriously considering a summer weekend visit! Thanks for sharing your home!!!
