Stay on the Magnetawan River

Perfect place

This place exceeded our expectations!!! Cottage is in such a nice location; right by the river. It was such a cute place to spend time with my husband. Host was really friendly and they had done an amazing job in keeping the place clean and providing every essential item. Overall, loved the place.

a summer stay splendour

tucked on a narrower part of the magnetewan river, is this lovely cottage. spacious for a 6-person stay, the screened in porch is a bonus feature from those unwanted pesky mosquitos and summer rainfalls. a short distance to algonquin and arrowhead park, screaming heads outdoor exhibit and copperhead distillery in sunridge, this place is an ideal location to unpack the city life, have a campfire and enjoy northern living.

Water was very stinky, dock was unsafe to walk on. Grass has not been cut in quite awhile. Canoe takes on water.BBQ burners are completely shot and just shoot flames.Would not rent there again.

Summer Getaway

This is a great spot to be! We booked five nights this July and stayed in the Riverbend cottage. The cottage was extremely well taken care of and very clean. The owners have done a lot of work on these recently, and you can tell. This is a huge cottage and the screened in deck was a bonus! You really only need to bring your food and drinks as the cottage is completely ready for you. This cottage and the one beside it are wheelchair accessible and barrier free, which is something that you do not really see anywhere. Thanks for the great week Chris!

This was a lovely cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. We were there in early June and the yards still needed cleanup. Nor was the dock usable. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise great place to stay.
