Great place, especially for children . Close enough to Fredericksburg but out in the country.

Beautiful property. It isn’t mentioned much in the listing, but it has a pool and a hot tub! Great property.

We SO enjoyed our stay on the ranch. It was better than the pictures on the website and offered a wonderful respite in the country. We loved looking out from the kitchen windows and seeing the Longhorn cattle in the pasture along with the goats. They made subjects for art class one day for our granddaughter. We had all the utensils and supplies we needed to function well in the kitchen while there. The home is well appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. It felt like a real home, not a sterile rental property. It is a well-designed home with views from all the rooms to enjoy and lots of light. The side patio off the downstairs bedrooms was a great spot to have morning coffee and chat.The kids spent hours in the pool, playing shuffleboard and playing pool. The separate, extra space provided in the Cantina was a great concept. Everyone had plenty of space to do as they wished. We played board games there as well. There were multiple charcoal grills which we put to good use and the open-air covered space with picnic tables offered space for everyone. We played golf a couple of days in Fredericksburg at the Lady Bird Municipal Golf course. Big fun but we couldn't wait to get back to the pool to cool off and rejuvenate We hope to be back again!.

AC didn't work for 1/3 of our group staying in an adjacent out building for 2 of our 4 days. Had to eventually call to get someone to respond in a meaningful way, they eventually stopped responding to email and text. Internet also went out day 2 but that never was resolved and since this is a pretty remote area no Wi-Fi was available which means no tv/no streaming. Only found out after booking and just prior to check in that they don't refund for Internet OR AC outages. Cool location but go at your own risk
