We are very sorry about this, but cannot help the COVID/parts supply situation. We notified everyone ASAP the day the heater broke and also gave options of refunding your booking or just the pool heat fee. We realize refunding the heat fee doesn't completely help but I am sure the family still enjoyed relaxing by the pool/on floaties and using the basketball hoop. Please come back again!

The little drive is definitely worth the peace and quiet with the gorgeous views! No matter what time of day and I hope you were able to enjoy them! I've have had others tell me the pictures do not do justice the size of the home. But like your review and others, it definitely helps for prospective renters to get an idea. There is always someplace you can get away at the home/property to read a book, take a nap or chill with a good movie. I'm so glad everyone had a good time. Please come back again!

We are so glad you enjoyed the home and pool! Not sure how to respond to the location to groceries and other places as we have the home's exact location pin pointed on the map. We do not have control over Mother Nature which dropped 12 inches of snow (a record) before your stay so the 1/4 mile of gravel in Arizona would have some problems. Never before have we had complaints about the road. We might have about the drive once before but that was fixed with our hard-surfacing last year. Sorry this was a problem for you and surprised as you did not express this to us in the extensive communication we had during your stay. Thanks for staying at the Desert Sanctuary!

We notified everyone that were renting from us right away on March 8th when we knew we could not get parts. We gave options of refunding their money or if they wanted to stay with the refunded pool heat fee.

However, after talking to the neighbors there were a couple heavy rains before your stay. The neighbors assured us that even with his little Cobra he could get through and do fix it continually.**_______________________2/2/16 In the process of trying to get the whole block paved!

We hope to hear from you again! ____________________________________________________________________________1/28/2013 - Recently stayed at the home over the holidays and the Verizon/Sprint cell phone service has been improved. Most of my family has Verizon cell service and didn't have any problems in the area. A couple had AT&T. Unfortunately AT&T coverage does not extend to the home and spotty even within the city limits of Scottsdale. The home has a fast DSL/Wifi service so streaming and skyping is supported. If you have another cell phone provider, please check availability in area 85262.
