We loved this home! Close enough to the village to walk, not too far from Summit either. The house was comfortable, clean and perfect for our family. Communication with the host was easy. I will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location and amenities

We had a great stay here and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Big Bear. Lots of space in the house and a full kitchen allowed for an enjoyable experience. This property was perfectly located close to Snow Summit and the main road and shops, but in a quiet neighborhood.

Holiday weekend stay

The house was clean and just as described. The proximity to the village was perfect for our family. Just a short walk and we were at the retaurants and shops. We were even able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the top deck!

Winter vacation rental

Clean property. Convenient location for winter vacation. Short walk to village which is nice. Short drive to Snow Summit. Would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at this property, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The home is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. The location is ideal—only a casual 4–5 minute walk to town—and the views are absolutely stunning. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the house is stocked with everything you could need: washer and dryer, full kitchen, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig, crock pots, TVs, and games. A perfect stay once again!

Great place for a family getaway. Everything we needed was there. Close to the village and Marina. Don’t go by GPS to find the trash disposal.

Great Family Stay

Everything that was advertised was spot on. The location was great and the house is nice! This is a perfect place to stay for families and to be close to the slopes and the Village. There are not shower amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash), but that's ok we travel with our own stuff. Other than that they had all the amenities needed. Suzannah was a great host, thank you!

Snowy Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Due to an incoming storm, we weren’t sure we would make it up the mountain for our reservation. The property owner was helpful and accommodating and provided us with weather and traffic links used by locals, which proved to be extremely helpful. We were able to safely make it up the mountain and did not have to cut our trip short. The cabin felt like a home and was very cozy. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Would definitely stay again on our next trip!

A most spectacular house

We loved the house, very roomy, comfortable clean, very well maintained. We didn’t cook In the house but everything you would have needed was there. Bedrooms are large, living space excellent, kitchen, bathrooms clean and large. When we arrived it felt like home there was nothing lacking at this property. I hate to leave such a good review because we want this place to be a secret just for us!!!! Highly recommend, great communication with owner.

Not sure why people said 10/10 for this house because it was not clean. Everything was falling apart or dirty. The couches were all ripped. The room carpets were all dog hair. Not a house for kids with dog hair everywhere and very steep stairs. You open the door and it’s the stairs. The balcony downstairs was not actually covered it was leaking all the rain down. The window shades were all broken. The house is very dark and small. I would rate the 1.

This guest complained before she even arrived at the cabin. When we respond to her questions or complaints, she complained on top of these. Most question she had were clearly detailed in the VRBO portal which clearly did not take the time to read. Some people cannot be pleased.

The property looked well kept and updated. There were a lot of family games in the house. The kitchen was equipped with enough cookware and dinnerware to prepare and have a family meal. Some of the windows did not have window covers. The one's with covers needed to be replaced.

Big Bear Family Trip

It was ok. I found hair in the bathrooms. It wasn’t as clean as I expected. You can tell the place gets cleaned enough to where people may stay and not notice. It was a mess with the TVs. I was stressed out because I couldn’t get the TV going and I had 3 kids with me. I wouldn’t stay here again. Sorry

Close to the village

We enjoyed our stay at Suzannah and Luke's cabin. Communication with Suzannah was very easy as she responded promptly to my emails. The cabin is very clean and is nicely furnished. Everything is labeled and instructions are very clear. It's also conveniently located five minutes from the village. We enjoyed the views from the deck where we barbecued and had breakfast every morning. However, I agree with one of the reviewers about the lack of kitchen supplies. Also, the kids' beds were quite uncomfortable (you could feel the springs). Luckily we had brought air mattresses and all four kids slept on those the second night.
