A great 2 person B'n'B

Up-do-date fresh well kept living / bedroom / bathroom below the host's residence. A great space to hang out after a day out exploring Timaru. Friendly hosts. A short drive from town centre.

Perfect location

Property as described.Perfect location for Aorangi Stadium.Bit weird that you can't lock the toilet door - has tape across the lock.

Unfortunately I did not get to meet Nan. They left the unit neat and tidy. Will definitely host again

Very clean property

Very friendly hosts with a very clean property and the self help breakfast offerings are a nice touch. Bathroom and toilet situation is a little unusual in that they are situated in the small entrance hallway so I would recommend bringing a dressing gown as it feels like you could bump into the hosts here (but we never did) - the shower has excellent pressure though. The main unit entrance door has a keyless lock which is excellent - there is also an entrance to the hosts house from here. Then you go down a few stairs, passing the bathroom and toilet (and through a small laundry that is not for guest use) and then through a door into the unit proper - there is no lock on this door which felt a little strange. There is no kitchen sink so you put any dirty dishes in the laundry sink in the morning and the hosts pick them up, clean and return them to the sink for collection later in the day. You can communicate with the hosts, and them with you, via a google nest in the unit. This was something new for us and we are not sure we really liked the concept :) Heating very good, bed very comfortable and comfy pillows.

We respected their privacy and did make it clear that we will come down to fetch dishes when guests are out. We did not go in to the living area as they did not feel comfortable allowing us to clear the bin and replace breakfast for next morning. My web site states we have a kitchenette not a kitchen. We did not appreciate the furniture that they moved around and was in the sun all day untill we asked them to close the curtains. And just very hard on slaming doors. Wendy left the unit very tidy.
