Our Cozy Cottage is the perfect little Island getaway home away from home. Whether your looking to sight see or here on business, the Island is bursting with life and ready for you to explore. We are located in Greater Victoria's West Shore in the heart of Colwood just a short walk or 2-5 minute drive to Hatley Castle, Royal Road University, Fort Rodd Hill, Esquimalt Lagoon waterfront, Bird Sanctuary, Royal Bay Bakery, Royal Bay, Royal Bay, Beach lands park, Pacific landing, and much more. We recommend having a vehicle to better help you enjoy your stay. The space includes;
Private parking w/private entrance, fully fenced and landscaped yard, 1 bdrm with queen size Tempur-pedic bed, full bath, full kitchen, microwave, laundry, breakfast nook, pullout Dbl couch for extra guest or kid, Tv, cable, WIFI, movies, games, books, indoor fire place, skylight, French doors and private patio with love seat & chairs, BBQ, herb garden and more.

Homey week

Location & amenities were ideal for our visit to our son who lives on base 20 minutes away. Close to restauraunts, conveniences, main roadways, trails, attractions. It looks like there’s some public transportation but a car is recommended - parking included. Lovely, responsive hosts and lots of privacy. We were out most of the time and it was usually too cool to enjoy the yard. Overall good value & comfort and suited us better than a hotel.

Cozy getaway cottage

Perfect place for a weekend getaway! This cozy cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from thoughtful amenities to a beautiful, peaceful setting. The hosts communicated clearly and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this little oasis—we’ll definitely be back.

Sarah and Adam have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and cozy. All kitchen utensils and shower products are already there, everything is clean and smells fresh! Great place to stay!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay

This cottage is well set up, with many generous touches such as games to play, coffee and other complimentary foods available, and a lovely area in which to sit outside. The bed was comfortable and there’s a good lamp for reading in bed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Girls Weekend

The space was very well maintained and cozy. It was well decorated and had everything you may need for your stay. It has a nice sized outdoor space with a big hammock! Sarah and Adam really though of everything.

Nicely decorated and very clean!

Everything you would need is included. Privacy, WiFi, cable, and nice accommodations including a private back yard. Hosts are helpful and always available to help. A home away from home while on a getaway in Victoria. I will be staying here again for sure.

Beautiful little home away from home.

This was such a wonderful little place to stay at. Location was perfect for us. The cottage was so cute and so clean and Sarah thought of absolutely everything for our stay. We wanted for nothing. They definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much for everything and we will certainly stay again when we are back that way.

Great little place

Stayed here for a week, and the cottage had everything I needed. Plus to have a washer/dryer. The outside area was such a pleasant surprise. Very private, lots of patio furniture, even a hammock and use of a barbecue. Short walk to The Royal Bay Bakery(amazing) Host was super....I would stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!

Golf Getaway

The location was excellent! We were never more than a few minutes from a golf course. Sarah and Adam were very friendly and accommodating. Communication with them if we needed something was almost immediate. Although the weather was really too cool to enjoy the private yard, in warmer days, it would be excellent. Would definitely recommend this cozy little cabin to anyone visiting Victoria area.

Classic cottage vibe

Sarah was responsive to my request to enter into the suite a bit early, which I appreciated as I was needing a rest between my flight and dinner plans. It was a bonus to be able to park my rental car out front for free. I also needed an iron which she promptly provided.The place is very cute, with a classic cottage vibe. A little too rustic for me, however. But I know people who would really enjoy this relaxed, private experience. It’s great to have access to a backyard sitting area. And because of its residential nature, it’s quiet. I will state that I woke up with a number of bites on my left arm. While at first I thought bedbugs, I now believe it was fleas. I know I didn’t have these bites before going to bed. It is possible they came from the plane, rental car, or the restaurant. Apparently the place is pet free. Upon leaving, I shared my concern with Sarah, and she immediately called her cleaner and they gave the place an extra cleaning. So I acknowledge her receptiveness to feedback and appreciate her diligence.

Lovely way to stay in Victoria

The homeowners have truly thought of every little thing a guest may want or need. The bathroom had a first aid kit, tampons, pads, hair dryer, shampoo, and shower gel. Kitchen was equipped with a blender, cooking utensils, spices, oatmeal, jam, and seasoning salts. There were cookbooks, games, TV (with option to access Netflix). Even the bedroom dresser had pretty paper liners inside. The homeowner immediately responded to any questions. This place is a short, but steep walk to the beach and is near some great parks and trails. Well worth staying at. Such a lovely place and lovely homeowners.

The Cozy Cottage was a great home base for our stay - quiet and relaxing street, just a short drive away from grocery stores, restaurants and many sightseeing locations.Adam and Sarah were wonderful hosts, warm, responsive and you can tell they care about their guest's experience.
