We really enjoyed our last trip of the summer before our kids go back to school! The place was amazing, the balcony had a nice partial ocean view, listening to the waves was very relaxing. The room itself was very clean and cozy. It fit our family of 4 perfectly.

Great Beach Getaway

Bob was such a pleasure to work with. He was so accommodating for my family. The propery was perfect for the 4 of us to stay in while doing a quick one day beach trip in Daytona. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to stay.

Everything went smooth during this stay. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach is extremely easy to get to from this location as it is basically out the back door. Host communicated everything we needed for the trip. Was always responsive and courteous. Will absolutely stay here the next time I’m in Orlando.

This place is very comfortable and the location it's very convenient, great communication and good value for the money. The only thing I missed was the pool wich still closed due to the last hurricane damaged and I totally understand, hopefully will be open on our next visit . Thank you so much!!!

This was a great location super clean room! Quick access to the beach with a restroom at the stairs. Bob was awesome at communicating the issues with the pool and things like that. He also was very detailed in explaining everything for the room like internet, tv, keys and where things were in the room! Would definitely recommend this location and would stay again if in the area!

Nice clean well appointed condo.

Great place in heart of Daytona Beach party district. Place is clean and applicances are new and useful. Unfortunately pool was damaged by recent storm and not available. Also beach access from pool area was not available so had to access a block away (not too bad).

Budget friendly right on the beach

Affordable unit right on the beach. Well equipped with everything you need to make small meals, coffee, etc. Nice balcony. Walking distance to restaurants, Ocean Center, Bandshell. Great communication from host. They only cons were the road noise (which really wasn’t terrible except on Saturday night) and no pool due to severe damage from hurricane. We didn’t miss the pool too much because we were busy enjoying the beach.

Love this place!

This is second time booking with Bob. We have loved it both times. The room is perfect for a small family. The location is perfect- it is about .7 mile walk to all the attractions in Daytona. I would like to add that my daughter left her stuffed animal in the room after we left. I reached out to Bob and we were able to make arrangements to get it mailed back to us. He was thoughtful! The other thing I would like to note is that the water was scheduled to be off and he communicated this quickly with us. Overall it was a great stay!

Too noisy!

The noise was overwhelming at times, between the pickup trucks roaring past just outside the building and lots of guests yelling in the hallways late at night. Older building, so AC fought to keep up, bedding and shower were not great. It was clean, and lots of communication, porbably too much for my taste.

Great!

We enjoyed our stay! Very close to the beach. The room was kinda small, but we only used it for sleeping mainly, so that didn’t effect us much at all. The first night we thought there was a giant roach in our room, but it turned out it was a palmetto which is something that Florida residents deal with after talking to a local we met on the beach lol. It’s normal, so don’t freak out! The hallway always seems to smell like smoke although it’s a nonsmoking condo. The air freshener helped a lot. We all had a blast. Don’t panic if it shows all rainy days, it rained twice one being overnight for a bit our entire stay. The only thing I’d suggest adding with families with children, a chainlock along with the boltlock. Nobody attempted to come in, but I have a child who sleep walks from time to time and she attempted it our first night probably due to exhaustion. We just used chairs in front of the door the rest of our stay without issues.

Book with somebody else

It's close to ocean walk, and it's not really busy at the pool or on the beach. I would not recommend staying with Bob in any of his rooms. He charges an expensive cleaning fee but then expects you to do all the cleaning. Then once you leave he will lie and keep your safety deposit by saying you leave cigarette buds everywhere even if you're not a smoker then say you threw up every where and left it even if you never threw up. He won't send pictures either to prove it because he knows he is lieing. Also, the building is old and smells like old people chain smoking in a nursing home. Would not recommend when the hotels beside it are so much nicer and friendlier and the same price if not cheaper. This Bob dude wont email you back either so.

Location location location

We stayed for a week for a wedding, weren’t familiar with Daytona Beach but knew Atlantic Blvd was we’re it was being held...it’s a long street! This condo is right on the beach, at the north end near Ormond Beach but the neighborhood is a little sketchy. We like to walk but the street is a very busy strip. There’s plenty of off street parking in the multi-level garage. We had our bicycles locked up there but one night, someone tried to steal them by cutting the cable. Fortunately they weren’t successful, maybe security ran them off? Mgmt is looking to provide a locked room. The unit was large enough with kitchenette & pretty much everything you needed. The view was on the side so ocean is right there, we sat on the balcony on plastic chairs. Though most everything is dated, mattress was soft, A/C unit never got cold - the tv was an amazing 65”! It’s sold as non-smoking but the smell from the other units that aren’t, came in through the bathroom vent, very gross. They’re doing renovations so the pool is lovely - our favorite spot!! As someone else said, you get what you pay for.

Nice Location and Unit

The unit is very clean and well stocked.Our stay was almost 2 weeks and we did many meals there so appreciated the larger fridge, cooktop and all the kitchen supplies.Bob communicated very well providing an abundance of information prior to arrival and was very easy to communicate with during our stay if something came up.Unfortunately the pool was not open yet but was really not an issue as the weather was not great.The only issue we noticed was an ongoing smell in the bathroom area (like a dirty ashtray). We mentioned it to the maintenance person when she came to install a new smoke detector.

Good value

The unit is as advertised and very clean. It was well stocked with towels and some basics. Bob was very easy to communicate with. The building itself is older and could use some updating. The pool was not yet open when we visited, but it looked to be just about complete with a nice new pool deck. We visited during a fairly quiet time, but there is some road noise. Otherwise, the location is good - right on the beach.

Nice apartment and beach

The apartment is cute but as they say, you want to wash the dishes yourself before using them. The building itself is rather dirty and unkept. Close to the beach and plenty of restaurants.

Daytona Oceanfront

Had a good vacation. Enjoyed all the area has to offer. Nice big TV with cable! Full size fridge & 2 burner on countertop helped to make our stay more convenient. Beautifully decorated with plenty of kitchen supplies, Towels ect. The only problem we encountered was a neighbor in a nearby unit was smoking & the odor was coming through the vents near bathroom at times.

Bob was amazing as a host. He keeps his property in tip top shape and thought of everything we could need during our stay and made it available! You respect his property because you can feel the sense of devotion he puts forth to maintain it. Would absolutely stay with Bob again.

Daytona Beach-perfect location

The condo was exacly as described. The location was perfect. We were there for a Softball tournament. Anything we needed was supplied. The large TV was a plus. Pleanty of stores and restaurants nearby. We will definately be back to enjoy the beach. Thanks Bob, it was a pleasure renting from you.
