This beautiful spacious Victorian home provides more than enough space for families to relax and enjoy the sites of Oxfordshire. With 4 double bedrooms, 2 en-suites and a stunning traditional family bathroom with a freestanding slipper roll top bath with mermaid feet. There are also 3 reception rooms, one with a log burning fireplace. The gorgeous fully equipped kitchen has plenty of space to cook family meals.
The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe/dressing room. One of the bedrooms has twin beds, that can be linked together to create a king-size bed.
In the large main living room overlooking the rear garden, you will find 2 comfy leather sofas, in front of the log-burning fireplace with a supply of wood. In the corner is a TV with Netflix and a variety of cable channels.
There is also a beautiful Grandfather clock standing proud. The bi-fold doors lead onto the patio and the well-maintained garden with garden furniture. In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find handmade solid wood cupboards, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. There is a Belfast sink, Rangemaster Cooker and various electrical appliances. Leading off from the kitchen will find a study equipped with a printer for your use.
Also in the hallway, you will find a utility room with a washing machine and another fridge freezer. High-speed Wifi is provided free of charge. At the front of the property is parking for three/four cars. At the rear of the property is a well-maintained garden with a patio and furniture.
Guests have access to the whole property.
We give our guests space, but, are available when needed. A member of the team is locally based and will be available during your stay to help with any questions.
Within walking distance from the property you will find North Oxford Golf Club, North Oxford Lawn Tennis Club, Oxford Hawks Hockey Club, John RR Tolkien’s Grave (Wolvercote Cemetery), Cutteslowe Park with a miniature railway, Bus stop to Woodstock to visit Blenheim Palace (Oxford Parkway Station), Oxford Parkway Station trains to Bicester Village (10 minutes) and London Marylebone (78 minutes).
If you'd like a good game of golf, North Oxford Golf Club (1 minute away) is a beautiful parkland golf course, wonderfully mature and provides a delightful test of golf. Good for body and mind, it is the ideal setting to improve your game, connect, catch up with friends and like-minded people, relax and enjoy quality time together.
Another great place nearby is the Trap Grounds Town Green & Local Wildlife Site (6 minutes away) where you can discover what makes this wild green space in suburban north Oxford so special.
This house is situated in an excellent location with a bus stop just outside. There is free off street parking. A 20 minute bus ride and you will be in the world famous Oxford city centre where you will find plenty of historic properties and museums to explore and you can meander around the beautiful colleges, with their chapels, gardens and halls.
