Our spacious, contemporary 1 bed apartment can sleeps 4. Really well presented, short walk to sandy beachs, mountain and river walks .
The apartment itself is contemporary, really well equipped, comfortable and very spacious for a 1 bed. Perfect for a romantic 'get-away' or a base from which to explore the South Snowdonia area which once discovered is sure to provide warm memories for many years to come and we are sure you will want to return again and again.
The comfortable lounge has seating for 4 guests, with a brand new faux leather bed settee, 2 new faux leather tub chairs, a flat screen SMART TV, DVD player, coffee table, nice views towards the Broadwater and a selection of games.
The spacious double bedroom has nice views, a comfortable double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, bed side tables with bedside lamps and a flat screen TV
The spacious well equipped kitchen has all the equipment that you will need for a relaxing stay. Including:
Oven/Grill, Ceramic hob, Extractor fan
Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing machine
Microwave, Toaster, Kettle
The bathroom has a white ceramic suite with a shower over the bath, there is instant hot water from the gas combi boiler
WIFI is available at no extra cost
Heating is provided by gas central heating in all the rooms and there is an electric feature fire place in the living room. The electric and gas is included in the rental costs. Bedding and towels are also provided.
The apartment is completely self contained you are free to come and go as you please at all times, day and night. Key safe on main door. Easy FREE parking outside 6.00pm till 8.30pm, FREE car park 100 yards. FREE parking on the sea front ALL year.
There are people in the flat below so we respectfully request that you show consideration towards your neighbours ensuring that no noise is heard outside the apartment at night.
Situated in the historic part of the town, directly opposite the old market hall and Saint Cadfans Church which dates back to 11th Century. St Cadvans Church is home to the ‘Cadvan Stones’ which are apparently the oldest known inscriptions of the Welsh language. And the recently rediscover 8c ‘sun dial stone’
Tywyn has a sunny west-facing 'Blue Flag' sandy beach. Don't miss the spectacular sunsets over the bay. From early Spring through till Autumn, dolphins and porpoise can be spotted close to the shore, an amazing sight to see! It’s not unusual to see them on a daily basis in pods of up to 20. Tywyn is possibly the only place on the West Coast where you can park for FREE virtually right on the beach. There is level access to the town where there are supermarkets, shops, bistros (you must try' Salt Marsh Kitchen' opposite the market hall) cafes, banks, a post office, cinema, health centre, cottage hospital, several churches, leisure centre and an indoor swimming pool. Just 5 minutes' drive is the picturesque harbour village of Aberdovey, with the famous Aberdovey Golf Course plus several good restaurants and pubs. For watersport enthusiasts and visitors with families, there are uncrowded, sweeping, sandy beaches in Tywyn or Aberdovey (just a few minutes away). Depending on the conditions, Tywyn is a focal point for surfers and kayakers.
Tywyn's renowned 'Magic Lantern' cinema and arts venue is just around the corner. The main line train station is only 5 mins away as well as the world famous Tal-y-llyn Railway ( the world’s 1st preserved railway).
Aberdovey is a well-known wind surfing and sailing centre. Jet skiers are welcome in both resorts. Fishing trips can be arranged in Tywyn and Aberdovey all year round. This area is full of history dating back to pre-historic times. Just get slightly off the beaten track on the dozens of public footpaths and you will come across standing stones, stone circles, abandoned farmhouses, castles and ancient churches
Tywyn is serviced by the the main line railway, Arriva Trains which goes on up the coast a very enjoyable journey. There is also regular buses and 3 taxis.
Close to The Snowdonia National Park, Tywyn is ideally situated for whatever type of holiday you are looking for. Whatever you are into: fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, mountain biking, bird watching, painting, landscape photography or horse riding, there are endless scenic places to explore. This region of Wales is without doubt a 'hidden gem' with some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain. This is a walker's paradise with Cader Idris just a few minutes drive away! Snowdon is only 60 minutes by car and the beautiful Coed Y Brenin Wood, with miles of mountain bike and walking tracks is just 30 minutes drive.Don't worry if you are not the active type, the effortless Mawddach Trail, featured in Julia Bradbury's 'Great Railway Walks' program, is accessible to everyone and takes you on a journey along one of the UK's most spectacular estuaries, brimming with wildlife. There are miles of beautiful unspoilt sandy beaches, as well as many local attractions, such as the Talyllyn Narrow Gauge Railway, which steams from Tywyn up to the mystical Dolgoch Falls. Just a few miles around the stunning Talyllyn Lake towards Corris, is the world renowned 'Centre for Alternative Technology' (or CAT) which is a fascinating place to visit and learn. Close to CAT is The Corris Craft Centre and King Arthurs Labyrinth, another must-visit place.

The apartment comfortably sleeps 2 people with a supplement of £35 for one additional person and £60 for 2 additional people sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge (1 double bed and 1 sofa bed)
Short breaks when available: Monday-Friday 4 nights and Friday-Monday 3 nights. There is a minimum charge of £150 for any stay.
Prices inclusive of energy, wifi, bedding and towels. Please bring your own beach towels. Cleaning fee of £39 applied to each booking.
