Tämä on toinen kotimme ja olemme varmoja siitä, että olet niin mukava kuin olisit omassa kodissasi tässä Shasta-vuoren idyllisessä yhteisössä.

Tämä tyylikkäästi maalaistyyliin sisustettu koti on maalattu juuri ja maalattu, ja siihen kuuluu uusi läpikuultava puulämmitteinen kiuas (mukana puussa), viihtyisästi sisustettu, TV, DVD / videonauhuri, stereot / CD-soitin, puhelin puhelinvastaajalla, muhkeat liinavaatteet ja täysin toimiva keittiö (jääkaappi sisäisellä jää- / vesisäiliöllä, leivänpaahdin, uuni, mikroaaltouuni, tehosekoitin, sekoitin, kahvinkeitin ja astianpesukone), mukaan lukien keittiövälineet, astiat ja ruokailuvälineet, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu.

Olemme juuri asentaneet uuden koko talon vedenjakelulaitteen puhdasta kuohuvettä varten omasta kaivoksesta.

Nukkuu mukavasti kuusi, kolme makuuhuonetta, joista toisessa king-size-vuode, toisessa queen-size-vuode ja toisessa kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Vauvansänky on saatavana vauvojen kanssa matkustaville. Suuri avoin keittiö vieressä ruokailutila. Olohuoneessa on keskeinen sijainti makuuhuoneissa ja keittiössä, runsaasti istumapaikkoja perheelle ja vieraille.

Clean. Great location near excellent hiking trails. Host and PM were excellent in communication. Only issue is I couldn’t figure out how to get any cable TV channels. Easy access to streaming however. Would return!

Great ski weekend!

My 20-year old and her boyfriend and my 16-year old and his friend all came up to Shasta for a President’s Day 3-day ski weekend. The house was surrounded by trees and felt very secluded and quiet. The set up was perfect as I took the master, the older kids took the bedroom with the queen, and my youngest and his friend took the bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen had all the amenities you could think of (even an immersion blender for soupmaking one night!) and flows very easily. We loved the comfortable furniture and the wood stove to relax after skiing. The host was VERY responsive to questions, and would text back right away. Because we came in so late on Friday night, the long incline driveway had iced over and we were not able to go all the way up to the house, so we parked halfway up and walked our things up to the hiuse (it was 1 am, and although I am confident I could have made it if I had chained up I didn’t want to do it at such a late time). I mentioned it the next day, and the owner was ready to come out and salt the driveway! Luckily, once it warmed up the ice melted and we had no more problems! Straight shot to get on I5 to get to the town or the slopes. Was a great weekend of great memories!

Perfect location

I did not stay at the property, our crew stay at the house while working in Mt. Shasta. Was located close to the project. They didn't have any complaints about the house, it had everything they needed. It was clean, comfortable and had beautiful view. We will rent again if we are in the area. The only thing they mentioned was the morning train.

dog friendly home in Shasta

The house was very comfortable and cool indoors, despite it being in the high 80s during our stay. The property manager, Karla, was very responsive with communication which was appreciated (owners, too). We had fun looking at all their bass and calla lily decor :) Great location--only a few exits away from downtown and headwaters. Kitchen had basic needs, and bedrooms were comfortable. Check in/check out process was easy. Will be coming back!

Thanksgiving at House of Bass and Lilies

This house is great! We cook on our VRBO vacations and this house has a kitchen stocked for a chef! Thanksgiving dinner requires a lot of pots and pans and this house has it all! The living room is comfortable with Roku and dvd options! The bed is super comfortable, the showers hot, and deer walking by the windows quite an entertainment! I recommend a visit here! And Karla the manager is superb!

Family Time

A couple of things that folks need to understand regarding renting this house. 1.There is no air conditioner except in the living room and kitchen so if you are in the bedrooms you won't feel it especially when everyone wants their privacy. 2. You are charged per person if you have more than 2 making this rental per night more than what it says. 3. Also not sure why anyone is charged a cleaning fee if the renters have to do so much. 4. I loved the location and especially the deer that come an visit. We won't rent this one again because of the air conditioner. It may be a good one in the winter if you go there at that time

Three night stay during the week of July 4th Daytime temperatures were over 103° and we were able to stay cool and enjoy the visit in spite of the weather. Very nice and very comfortable. The kitchen is easy to use and had everything we needed.

Felt at home, the kitchen is well equipped & everything is where you'd expect. House beautifully decorated. The master bed was wonderful, the other 2 bedroom mattresses were "very firm" and almost uncomfortable. Beautiful property but should hire a person to blow the yard of debris and wipe down the patio table/chairs. The Deer visit am/pm to graze on manzanita bushes & blue belly lizards come out to catch the sun.

Location great-smelly room,barking dog next door makes 3 star

Property manager must not talk with House Cleaner as 1 bedroom was unusable because of electric "cleaning plug" scent trying to hide whatever it was that was stinking up room. Airing out for 8 hrs. didn't help. Dog poop on sidewalk upon first walking up to house, also. Barking dog from neighbors night and day-we called ph. # on st ( they had art business), only to get busy signals. We emailed owner who said house was rented day before, with no complaints of smell or barking dog. Be aware there is kerosene heater/ wood stove for main house heat and individual bedroom wall panel heaters for bedroom. We didn't contact property manager on smelly bedroom, as it was something that wouldn't disappear quickly-we just shut the door, and couldn't use room. Location/views great and check in -good communication.

Great place as described

Worked out great for two couples and a single and a dog. We spent hours getting kicks out of the bass and lilly themed decor. The location worked out great, not too far from town. Most everything you need was included. Minor details, but the electric stove seems slow, an electric kettle would be a nice upgrade. Thorough communication, but I think it was an oversight that the address was actually hard to find in email amongst all the other communication.

A perfect place to stay

Everything in this house is perfect. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything a cook might need. The living room has comfortable chairs and a large tv to watch dvd’s as well as many streaming shows. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed! This rental is a real winner!

Don't forget to look at the stars

My friends and I had a lovely time. Spacious, clean home in the not-too-far-away rural area offered us quiet, deer visits, and a beautiful vista. We enjoyed escaping the noise and light pollution of the city with easy access to Mt. Shasta City and summit. My favorite part was to step outside and look at the stars and Milky Way before turning in for the night. A peaceful location for those looking to get away from it all. Thank you!

We live in a major metropolitan area with busy work interacting with the public that never seems to stop. It was during our first anniversary that we visited Mount Shasta for the first time. We made an offer on a home before we left! We wanted to have a getaway that was peaceful but still full of the activities we enjoyed. Rather than renting a place each time we visited, we decided to have a home in Mount Shasta be our personal second home.

We tried to experience as much as we could during our first visit: playing golf at Mount Shasta Resort, hiking around Siskiyou Lake, eating at many of the local restaurants (that are all so good that we can't decide which one is our favorite), having an afternoon break at the local pub (The Goat Tavern), riding bicycles, fishing several of the local streams, lakes and rivers and doing a little shopping in quaint downtown Mount Shasta. We just missed ski season but knew that Mount Shasta Ski Park would be there for future winters.

It's so easy to get there by flying into Medford OR or Redding CA, both being a little more than an hour from our home, or driving up straight off I-5. We visit as often as we can, but not often enough. Since it's we're not able to us it as often as we'd like, we thought it was too beautiful to keep to ourselves so we thought it should be a vacation rental for others seeking a home away from home, to enjoy the scenery, tranquility and serenity of the Mountain.
