Sandy Feet Retreat

Varaa seuraava perheenyhdistys tai ryhmäretki tässä elegantissa paritalossa South Padre Islandilla! Voit nauttia ilmiömäisestä sijainnista aivan kadun toisella puolella rannalta, aivan nurkan takana Schlitterbahn-vesipuistosta ja suoraan Corpus Christin keskustasta. Kaksi koiraa (korkeintaan 60 kiloa) on myös tervetullut pieneen yöpymiseen.



Luettelossa on kaksi naapurimaista kaupunkitaloa, Vitamin-Sea ja Latitude Adjustment, joiden avulla voit nauttia toistensa yhtiöstä ja samalla varmistaa yksityisyyden ja mielenrauhan. Jokaisessa kaupunkitalossa on neljä makuuhuonetta ja mahtuu jopa 14 henkeä, ja siihen kuuluu oma keittiö, olohuone, oma pesukone / kuivausrumpu, keskuslämmitys, kuusi taulutelevisiota kaapelilla ja Netflixillä sekä ilmainen WiFi. Viimeistele päivä ryhmässä BBQ yhdellä kahdesta yksityisestä terassista, liota yksityisessä porealtaassa takapihalla tai jäähtyä iltaisin pulahtamalla yhteisön uima-altaaseen.

Townhome Weekend Get Away

The townhomes were great for our family to stay in. Perfect sleeping quarters for everyone, the kids enjoyed the pool, the hot tub was perfect and we all had a great time. Grateful that it was perfect to accommodate us so that all of our family could stay together.

Great location, a bit cramped

We loved being so close to the beach and having two adjacent townhomes. Pool & Hot tub access were a plus! Only downsides were feeling a bit cramped with 15 people & only 3 bathrooms per house, and some of the pullout beds did not have any bedding provided.

Thanksgiving 2023

We stayed there with extended family for Thanksgiving. It was very convenient having 2 kitchens. The units are next to each other and help with larger groups. It was also close to the beach.

Family Vacation

Our family of 16 have been vacationing together for 15 years. We rented these two side by side condos. First of all the bed count is a little misleading. 2 full size and 2 twin are trundle and if used make it difficult to get around and did not have bedding on them. There was a major problem with 1 of the units and the occupants had to move to a hotel. Amy was very helpful in getting help with the situation and Cassa did a good job compensating us for the problem. There were a few cleaning problems and cooking utensils were a little sparse but we would probably rent again if were back in the area.

Could have been better

When we arrived we were only able to get into one condo. The floors were dirty, they needed to be swept and a really good moping. The hot tub didn’t look clean enough to get in. When booking it made it sound like the two condos shared a pool, but the entire place shared a pool. We had great time at the beach but the condos not so much. We won’t be returning there.

Great Condo

My family was very pleased with this location. The number of king beds was great and the other beds worked well for the kids. The place was nice and the beach was great. We had trouble getting into the properties. The codes they sent us didn't work and the person we contacted wasn't able to help. Finally after about 45 minutes, we were able to get into the lock boxes and get a key. The other issue was on the send night, two of the toilet tanks didn't fill. By morning they were working again, so I don't know what caused that to happen. Overall, a great location and great properties.

Layout is difficult

So I went for the place with the most beds and bathrooms… there are a couple nuances with that… ground floor has master suite with only bathroom on lower level. Only way to bathroom and to outside back area is through the bedroom. Only way into bedroom is to move table and anyone sitting in end out of the way cause otherwise you can’t get through door that opens out toward kitchen dining area. Had some issues with plumbing while there and unit manager made appropriate arrangements to deal with that. Upstairs there is an on suite with attached bathroom (once again have to go through someone’s bedroom to use it) and the only public bathroom is upstairs. In the same foyer area that there is a twin bed with a pullout underneath. There is also a bedroom that apparently is supposed to sleep six cause it’s a full bunk bed (top and bottom) and a full pull out. The amount of humor we got from deciding who was going to be crushed in the middle bed when I got on the top bunk was great (no friends were injured that night; just didn’t look like it would safely hold one adult much less two) Now the really frustrating aspect was that between the two units, there were no starter items… aka, no dish soap for sink, some bathrooms didn’t have hand soap, no trash bags for trash can; less than half roll of toilet paper… I don’t expect a weeks worth of stuff. It something to get us started so we don’t have to immediately go to the store and get stuff would be nice. Overall it was clean and convenient, but it’s going to be super tight if you put the number of guests it says it will hold in there. We had around 20 people between both sides and felt crammed in mostly just with sleeping aspects.

Perfect for Family Reunions

Location Location Location Across the street from the Gulf of Mexico You can drive on the beach, set up your tent and spend time in the Gulf breeze while the kids play in the surf and build sandcastles. We had a great week end. We will be back.

Perfect getaway

The two townhouses were family friendly and gave us plenty of room. Loved the short walk to the beach and perfect weather for playing in the surf! The kids loved the pool too and soaking in the hot tub in the evening.

Great Family Vacation

We have a large group which makes it difficult to find a place to accommodate us all. This place gave us plenty of space, plenty of bedrooms. We used on place for breakfast and the other kitchen for dinners which really helped control the kitchen responsibilities. We loved the close proximity to the beach. BBQ grills were great and we even managed to use the hot tub even though we went in July. Would recommend this place.

Large Family Beach trip

We had a great time. I was happy there were lots of TVs in the rooms so the kids could watch their own things. There was a leak in one of the rooms so we couldn't use one of the showers. Other than that it had everything we needed and the location was perfect. Pool was nice and hot tubs were fun!

Pretty good, not great, not beachside

Overall we enjoyed the stay. The facilities were lovely and the management was great. Here are some complaints. The pots and pans were all dented and warped, the cooking utensils were subpar, and outdoor grills need some new burner tubes. The hot tubs were plugged into 110v instead of 220v and couldn't maintain temperature despite the warm evenings. Finally, the island lost water pressure so we were unable to shower and use the toilets prior to our 9 hour travel home.

Beautiful condos

The two side by side condos were pretty and well equipped. We were even given aluminum turkey roasting pans for our Thanksgiving week rental. Plenty of kitchen equipment and towels. Need more towel bars, bath mats, games, beach equipment, hangers, and a way to recycle cans and bottles. I hated throwing all of our bottles in the trash.

Nice homes but some of the maintenance needs improvements

The homes were nice and spacious however we didn’t have hot water in one of the condos for 3 days. Maintenance came out each day but one member in our party would have to wait for them to arrive , so that individual would miss out on activities during that time. There were 16 people and they either had to take cold showers or everyone shower in 1 condo, very inconvenient. Then we couldn’t use the hot tubs for 2 days. We used the hot tubs but no one does daily maintenance or no shock was left for us to maintenance. The hot tubs were a part of our rentals and should be available and devices daily.

Family trip

The property has a great location definitely walking distance to the beach. we rented both units one of them was rented the day before it was clean except for the dog poop in the laundry room and the washer wouldn’t spin. Had all the cookware and utensils but no salt and pepper. Overall great location great trip great house definitely accommodate the 15 people per unit with no problem. Not happy I paid the listings fee bc some other property manager listed on vrbo. I also wasn’t sure how to contact anybody if need be I wasn’t really any direct contact with anybody like when I rented through VRBO

Everything was excellent. My only complaint was not getting a responees back from vacasa in a timely manner. Hot tubs had sand in them when we arrived.
