This home is in a quiet neighborhood and well-suited for couples, small groups, and families with children. With pre-approval, we also allow up to two well-behaved dogs. (We use an enhanced cleaning procedure after a pet's stay.)

Located on the edge of Confluence Park and Vintage Park (we have the closest access to the Confluence Park trailhead in the neighborhood, right from the backyard), you will feel right at home in this unique, art-filled vacation home getaway; pristine and thoughtfully designed in every way.

The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for those wanting to create their meals, barbecue on the patio, or pack an afternoon picnic to enjoy on a nearby trail. Sip a cold drink or glass of wine on the patio, watch the sunset over the peaceful desert, (the firepit is available for use during safe-to-burn seasons) soak your sore hiking muscles in the hot tub, or relax on the delightfully comfortable living room sofas watching Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, or Paramount+.

GUIDEBOOK/HOUSE MANUAL - We've created an information-packed digital guidebook that you can pin to your smartphone or tablet so you can make the most of your stay. The best restaurants, places to go and see, how to visit Zion National Park, and much more.

ENTERTAINMENT- Most people come for the national parks or a marathon, but there are endless outdoor possibilities nearby. Rent UTVs, take a Jeep tour, go horseback riding, go stargazing...and so much more. Apart from Zion National Park and other nearby attractions, there are indoor and outdoor games at the home, books and puzzles, musical instruments, stargazing equipment, and Nintendo Classic for retro enthusiasts. Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu are available. Keep the kids busy with age-appropriate activities, and Vintage Park and Playground across the street is great for burning off a little extra kid energy.

BEDS - You will get a great night’s sleep in 7 comfortable beds (No blow-up beds, nor sofa beds) and wake up refreshed, ready for more fun and exploration.

CHILDREN: The bunk beds are perfect for children (with easy-zip bedding), and we have everything you need to make your stay with infants safe and comfortable: crib, playpen, highchair, stroller, baby monitor, changing table, baby gate, children's dishes, etc. The backyard is fully fenced. Your kids will love Vintage Park and Playground, right out the front door.

PETS - With written preapproval and a $39 pet stay/special cleaning fee, we allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs. (No cats or other pets.) We understand wanting to bring your four-legged family member on vacation with you and we have a safe, welcoming environment for them too. We will provide pet beds and blankets (to protect furnishings), food dishes, and other supplies. Your pup is going to love the Treat Station! Our Digital Vacation Guidebook has lots of useful information
too. The backyard has a lawn and is fully fenced. We have an enhanced cleaning procedure after each pet guest to ensure the furnishings, flooring, and the air is thoroughly cleaned so our non-pet-owning guests feel completely comfortable too. Even Better Than the First Time!
After staying at this unforgettable house in December and absolutely loving the place, we were eager to return and did last week for 5 days! This time our family joined us and everyone was just as thrilled with the house as we were the first time. It is spacious, clean, cozy, modern, and in a great location. This time we hiked the Confluence Park Trail that you can access right from the backyard of the house. How awesome is that?! Our relatives hiked Bryce and Zion canyon and really appreciated the guidebooks provided by the host that they used to map out their hikes. We played the musical instruments at the house, cooked family meals in the large and easy to find everything kitchen, used BBQ and hung out on the peaceful patio. We also used the hot tub every night and gazed up at the stars. Again our dog loved the yard and the park across the street. The neighborhood is quiet and the town is central to some many destinations. The bed was super comfortable and the closets are big and there is literally everything you need. The garage is also so clean and big. Last but not least, the host De Anna gives A+ service. You just know how much she cares. We will be back again and again. This place made our trip AGAIN!

Perfect Zion getaway
The house was exactly what we were looking for. We've stayed at several VRBOs and this one tops the list. The house was stocked (and labeled) with everything we needed. The host was prompt getting back to us as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Luxury in LaVerkin
Zion Family Retreat is an outstanding property. The owner has left no stone unturned. The guidebook that comes with the listing is the most well thought out and comprehensive information that any guest would want. The home is welcoming and pristine - beautifully decorated throughout - so many extra touches. It is well suited for all age children and offers plenty of activities to enjoy. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the variety of musical instruments and we enjoyed game playing nightly. Everything is labeled and instructions for check in and out, etc. are explicitly laid out. The artwork throughout is beautiful and many creative quotes as well as plenty of reading material. It was an amazing week - we felt so much at home and will look forward to visiting again!

5 stars isn't enough for this gem!
This home is phenomenal and made our stay in Utah unforgettable. My husband and I came to Utah from Southern California to visit our daughter, son-in-law and 6 month old son. They live in Springdale, a short and easy 20 min drive from this house, which made it the perfect location for us. The house is incredibly cozy - you feel like you are in your own home. Every room/area of the home was clean and spotless (refrigerator, bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, and garage just to name a few). There is every amenity you need in this stylish home and they all work perfectly and are modern and clean (e.g., kitchen appliances from air fryer, toaster, blender, coffee makers, pressure cooker, etc., as well as sunken tub in the primary bathroom). The backyard was perfect, especially for our golden retriever. He was easily able to use the backyard to get some exercise and hang out. The backyard also has a spacious sitting area, firepit/firepit sitting area, an area to play corn hole and other games (which the host also supplies!), and a warm and inviting hot tub! Beautiful artwork is hung throughout the home that gives it a super warm vibe. We couldn't have asked for a better host - De Anna. She is so responsive, clear, helpful, pleasant, and professional. You can really feel the effort she has put into making the home so lovely for every guest. The neighborhood park across the street was also perfect. We will come back to this home over and over again. Wonderful experience!

I have been lucky to visit over 38 countries, 18 of which I traveled across on a bicycle, a fantastic way to immerse oneself in diversity and culture. Zion National Park is one of my favorite nearby places in the United States to visit with my spouse. We climb Angels Landing at least once a year (November is the best time to go!), and some years we can be found walking the Camino de Santiago across Spain. We are always on the lookout for places we can also take our beloved dog.

Most of our guests stay in La Verkin because it's close to Zion National Park, the accommodations are more affordable than those nearest the gate entrance, or they are here for one of the local marathons in Southern Utah.

There is also the Superbloom Festival, Shakespeare Festival, the Plein Air Invitational, and shows and concerts at Tuacahn Amphitheater. Nature has created an exceptional collection of unique rock formations, cliffs, canyons, and landscapes to explore and discover throughout Utah, but most of it is concentrated in the Southern half of the state.

Zion Friends & Family Retreat is located in a neighborhood on the edge of Confluence Park, and you can walk to the trailhead from right outside the backyard gate. We love to walk through Confluence Park in the early morning before the desert heats up, and often you'll find us sipping coffee and nibbling a fresh cinnamon roll on the patio at the local trendy coffee shop, River Rock Roasting Company.

You'll have access to our information-packed digital house manual, an invaluable guide for an amazing stay. There are grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. This family-friendly home sleeps up to 10, at a value that cannot be beaten, and amenities you won't find at a hotel. Enjoy a real home that's thoughtfully and generously stocked and organized for all your needs. Are you running in one of Southern Utah's fabulous marathons? This is the perfect place to prepare for the race, and return for rest, including a good soak in the hot tub. Marathon weekends always fill up well in advance so do not delay making your booking.

If you are looking to avoid the crowds and summer heat, we highly recommend visiting in the Autumn or Spring, our favorite times to be in Southern Utah.
