Minimalist ocean view apartment in downtown Luquillo, year-round beach destination for remote workers, athletes, couples, and surfers.

The condominium has a recreation room and laundry in the lobby. In addition, it has 2 swimming pools, 1 parking, and gate with access to the beach "La Pared". Variety of nearby places such as El Yunque National Forest, Vieques, Culebra, Don Pepe Restaurant, Los Kioskos of Luquillo, Wendys, Walgreens, and Econo supermarket 5 min away.

A total mess

Advertise as a 2 bedroom…There was only one…Advertise with AC..only the room has air…Advertise with hot water..There was only cold water….Roaches in premises…Arrived on the 19 of Dec.Left the next morning…the 20 of Dec…Refund is due,but not received yet…A total waste of my vacation…Need to rent another place in a haste…Create a lot of trouble for me…NNOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE…Need to address this problem with Property Management…

Avoid this Host!

If I could give it a 0 stars I would! Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else! I had a reservation made since two weeks prior to my trip. I messaged the host the same day that I reserved and never heard back. Three days before the reservation I had to call the host because he had not responded. He told me that he had double booked guests on certain dates but he would let me know if he wouldn't be able to accomodate me. I didn't hear anything from him until the night prior to my trip! LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO MY RESERVATION HE TELLS ME THAT HE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE ME! Imagine all the trouble and stress he caused me! This guy is so unprofessional and UNRELIABLE! Save yourself the trouble and find another host! NO HAGAN RESERVACIONES CON ESTA PERSONA! Yo reserve con dos semanas de anticipacion y justo el dia antes de mi reservacion y mi vuelo me avisa que no me podra rentar el lugar. No es una persona de confiar y mejor evitense el estres de tener que andar buscando otro lugar a la mera hora.

Overbooking

Please be careful if you are looking to book at this property. We booked this property over a month in advance and got our confirmation booking. We were all set to enter the property and were sent a confirmation email to call to get the security code for the room. It was late at night when we arrived after a long travel day and when I called to get the code, they person on the phone told me the property was already occupied and we could NOT stay here. They explained that they property was double booked, and they had not made us aware with an email or phone call when we had booked it / confirmed the booking a month prior. We were left in the middle of the night with no place to go and it was the weekend of New Years. There were no places available for rent for the night and the property manager offered us no help. We were left on our own to find another place to stay and this was very expensive and difficult with it being New Years Eve weekend. Please be careful when booking this property and have a backup plan because you will be on your own if they overbook again.

Stunning view

The apt is exactly as pictured and the view is breathtaking! However, it’s not 2 beds or 2 bedrooms. It’s one bedroom and a futon in the living room. The check in process is simple (speaking w the security guard who is extremely nice and helpful to get checked in) but the haul to the entrance of the actual building and room is RIDICULOUSLY DRAINING! There has to be an easier way. I suggest instead of going thru a couple of gates/doors that have to be unlocked and up the steps a flight of stairs w your luggage just walk thru the parking garage and up the hill. Drop your bags off there too before parking. Much easier. Again, exactly as pictured with amazing view. Super host. Quick to respond. Easy process to park & get keys, but the process to get to the room could definitely be improved.

Beautiful view. Not the most comfortable stay.

The view was beautiful! The parking garage and check in process was a bit confusing. Upon checking in you have to walk up a couple flights of steps in the parking garage. Then go through a gated door and walk up a couple more flights of steps to the elevator. The furniture was very uncomfortable. There was no TV in the master bedroom. The Wi-Fi constantly went in and out interrupting any television show that was currently play. The showerhead in the bathroom was not adjustable. It’s sprayed almost directly in your face with no way to adjust it. Our first day arriving we placed our luggage is on the floor in the master bedroom. The air conditioner leaked completely soaking all of my clothes. I had many white articles of clothing that were ruined. Nothing was done about this for our entire stay. I had to constantly empty out a garbage can that I use to catch the water about three times a day. Mind you it was a 5 gallon garbage can. No compensation was offered. Just an apology. The property manager would respond hours later. He mentioned he would have an air conditioning technician come out but no one ever came. Most of our time consisted of emptying the garbage can full of water in order to not have the unit flooded. Not the ideal situation you want to encounter while on vacation.

Amazing condo, terrible check in process

Check in: The day of our arrival was a terrible experience, we arrived there late due to the fact that we had to drive from the other side of the country to the property but somehow there was a confusion with my check in date with the owner, he somehow thought I was getting there the next day so the property was still being clean. The check in direction was clear enough but very confusing. The fact that when we arrived there we couldn’t find the security so we went to the supposedly front desk but the lady that was in the “front desk” was the rudest person I have encounter my entire trip, we were greeted as “what do we want?” Because we were confuse on where to go and she didn’t even open the door for us so I decided just to try calling the owner, when the security guard finally came and saw us, he told us where the parking spot was (which was also a confusing part of check in because you don’t even know what level you are in as soon as you enter the property.) the security guard was helpful but also clueless, when we got to the parking spot there was a car that was parked in it, so we don’t know how to go about parking our car, there was a master lock where the parking spot was but when we opened the lock, there was no keys, we then finally got in contact with the owner, he got confused that our check in date was the next day, so he had the cleaning lady park on the spot while she clean the condo that we’re supposed to be staying, tell you this is already around 6pm, 2 hours after we were supposed to be check in already. Although I must say, the owner tried his best to help us, he had to have the cleaning lady let us in the condo while we wait for her finish to cleaning the condo. It was a terrible experience for all the rental properties I’ve ever encounter in PR, and I have been to over 10+ property around the island. Although it’s our first time in Luquillo. The room: the entire posting is accurate, the room is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN and has all the equipment you need for a great ocean front stay. They provided wine for us which we didn’t get a chance to drink but it was a great thought. The bed was so comfortable, the living room and balcony had this breathtaking view of the ocean, the kitchen is fully equip although we never got a chance to use any of them. Overall stay was okay, the check in process kind of sucks but overall we had a great time. The beach was so private, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Excelente localización y vista hermosa. El host contesta rápido y muy amable.

Sin duda, volvería a quedarme. La vista es espectacular. Es perfecto para parejas y desconectarse. La localización es muy céntrica, cerca de buenos lugares de comida y supermercados. La cama es un plus, súper cómoda. El host siempre estuvo pendiente, contestaba rápido y muy amable. Recomendado!!
