Newly updated and a premier luxury property located in the Old Florida Cottages community. 30A Emerald Jewel is a beautiful coastal cottage located in the quiet, family friendly community of Old Florida Cottages, on the South side of 30A and a quick 5 minute walk to the public beach access. 30A Emerald Jewel is across the street from the large community pool, with BBQ grills located just steps from the property. The front balconies have seating to enjoy early morning coffee or alfresco evenings with the kitchen access and the living area all located on second level. First floor boast a relaxing and beautifully decorated master king bedroom and newly updated bathroom suite. The queen bedroom is also on the first floor along with a twin bunk bed room which sleeps four. Enjoy all of the area dining, shopping and entertainment within a short walk away! Bikes and golf carts rentals are just a walk away with amazing ice cream and local restaurants nearby. The property has private parking and bicycle parking area. There's always local live entertainment to enjoy with family friendly shops and dining within a short walk from the vacation home. Enjoy sunny days on the beach with public showers and parking. Great location and fabulous house

Location is wonderful, short walk to the beach, pool across the street, and very quiet neighborhood. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Great Location

We absolutely loved staying at this house. The location was an easy walk to the beach with our kids all under the age of 6. Check in and check out was a breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals.

Great Location!!

Our family of 5 and our friends loved this home. It came with all the amenities described, but most importantly it was only a few minute walk to the beach! Great spot for young families who need to be able to get back to the house for anything if needed.

We had a great stay at Emerald Jewel! House was very clean upon arival. Loved how close it was to the beach, jusy a short walk, and the kids loved the pool! Victoria was very quick to answer my questions. Also really appreciated the beach supplies to use. Thanks for a great vacation!

Lovely house!

Everything about this house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Short walk to the beach, with a canopy, chairs, and beach wagon all available for our use. The house is beautifully decorated, and only 2 stories, so not so many stairs! The hosts responded quickly to my questions, and were very nice to communicate with. Will definitely return to this rental again!

This is our second year to stay here. Convenient and quiet location. A very short walk to the beach. The dune lake is a must to experience. We will be back!

Nice, but not for snowbirds

The location near the beaches was great. However, when we arrived, we were very disappointed that the living space was not on the first floor. Neither property descriptions, nor the website photos, gave any indication it was otherwise. This meant going up and down stairs many times a day. That should be fine for those staying a few days or a week, but we're too old for that. Sadly, we booked three months and it literally was so painful that we left three weeks early. It is NOT first floor living and, yes, we should have asked. My bad.In addition to misjudging the layout, the rental unit had many issues from minor ones we fixed ourselves all the way up to what I think are code violations (I was a building inspector before retiring). If I list them here, it will sound like I am a complainer, so I won't do that. But, I did give the list to the property manager to deal with as they see fit. You probably want an example issue for context? In the bunk bed room, the folding closet door wouldn't stay in the track and it fell out/off completely each time we used it. Another? We tried the emergency contact number and it was disconnected.We enjoyed the area immensely. We also enjoyed visiting with neighboring renters and we found out not all units are configured like this one. So, we will come back to Santa Rosa Beach in the future. Just not this particular unit.

very happy with our experience. location is walkable to lots of restaurants and easy walk to beach; loved having 3 bedrooms on a separate floor from living area; comfortable mattresses and bedding; kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals, including air fryer; included huge high quality beach towels. hosts responded to all questions super fast.

Return to 30A

We have stayed in Santa Rosa Beach area twice before this visit but Victoria and Atef’s home in the Old Florida Cottages neighborhood was by far our best accommodations. The 3 bedroom , 3 bathroom home was recently beautifully remodeled! The location was great , directly across the street from the heated pool which we enjoyed often , and a 4-5 minute walk to the beach, short walk to several restaurant and shop options. Victoria and Atef treated us extremely well , dropping off beach toys for our grandkids visits , supplying chairs and a beach wagon , stopping by promptly to take down a wasp nest , supplying restaurant options . They also allowed us to extend our 5 week stay by an additional 2 days , charging us for only 1 extra day , giving us 1 day free. We had a wonderful visit and plan to return and are Already looking into rebooking this same home in 2025!

Perfect!

We stayed Thurs - Mon with 4 adults and 4 kids. The house had the perfect space for everyone to sleep, relax and eat together. Kitchen was stocked with basics, bathrooms had plenty of towels. King bed is firm, queen bed is softer and the pillows were plentiful and dreamy. The pool is across the community drive way a few steps from the house, although we could hear the kids we could not see them due to trees. We rented a golf cart from the place on the corner and had no problems finding a spot on the beach for the day as long as we set up early.

Return trip

This was our 3rd time staying at Emerald Jewel and possibly the best. Proximity to the beach and ice cream is great. The house is very well stocked with kitchen appliances/utensils and storage containers - something many rentals seem to be lacking these days. We were provided with plenty of trash bags, paper towels, and dishwashing detergent. The furniture is all comfortable - it was easy to lounge around after a day on the beach. We were also able to work/take zoom calls from the house. We will be back!

Upset by disrespectful communication after check out

We are a family of seven adults and have stayed in the Old Florida Cottages a total of 4 times over the years. We love this area! We have never had a problem with the property manager or received a complaint from VRBO or any other vacation rental. About 2 hrs after checking out today we received a rude text communication from Victoria the property manager. When I asked her to please explain the problem I was only answered with more rude and inconsiderate communication. I called to speak with her in person since we sincerely tried to meet the expectations outlined in the checkout instructions. We took out the kitchen trash, cleaned some of our used towels, filled and started the dishwasher and checked out on time. We left the place ready for a basic cleaning as we do all of our vacation rentals. I was hoping to get some specific information so that we might understand the problem. So far Victoria’s claims have not been substantiated by any constructive communication or evidence. We saw the cleaning folks arrive at 10 and the scathing text messages began at noon. We are offended by the lack of respectful communication and truly hope you will find a well suited property manager for this beautiful home.

This rental was by far the best that we have stayed in this neighborhood (4 years running) . Cleanliness was top notch and there were no issues with check in and or no issues at all. Looking forward in making more memories in the years to come at this property
