Fully renovated ranch style house, with large bedrooms, full kitchen, large tile walk-in showers, laundry room and gorgeous deck overlooking Seneca Lake. Fire pit area off to the side of the house, parking for 5 vehicles in private driveway. Right on Seneca Lake Wine Trail, 15mins to downtown Watkins Glen and 25mins to Geneva.

Great Location; Great View

Very comfortable house with nice deck overlooking Seneca Lake. In the heart of the FLX, close to Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Geneva for shopping and restaurants. One level house with easy entry for people with limited mobility (but not wheel chair accessible).

Beautiful

We were in town for my nieces wedding and wanted a spot that was quiet, idyllic, and big enough to fit the whole family. This home was perfect. Well appointed, impeccable cleaned, and if you aren't looking for nightlife (we weren't) the location is perfect.

Great house with view of Seneca Lake

This is a wonderful ranch house which was perfect for an older couple with limited mobility. It was clean and nicely decorated with many amenities It is convenient to Penn Yan, Watkins Glen and Geneva.. We plan to stay again in the fall.

Weekend getaway

The stay was amazing. We all agreed that it was our favorite VRBO that we have ever stayed at. An amazing house that had EVEYTHING. The host did not leave anything for us to want. They thought of every detail! Amazing and would definitely stay again and recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfect! It’s just a short drive to explore all that Finger Lakes has to offer. We spent mornings enjoying the beautiful view of the sunrise from the deck then visited several wineries breweries and state parks throughout the day returning in the evening to grill and drink wine on the deck! Excellent host as well. Always quick to respond!

Road Trip

This property perfectly fit our needs. Traveling cross country from Arizona, the Finger Lakes area was our ultimate destination. The property is very nice and centrally located on Seneca Lake. After traveling 3,000 miles, it was great to have a quiet, comfortable place to call home and relax. I recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and enjoy what Finger Lakes has to offer.

Outstanding!

This VRBO was absolutely great and everyone in our party agreed. It was clean, was well-represented on-line, had comfy bed, awesome showers, a great Bluetooth speaker system we used non-stop, and the pictures were true. Incredibly quiet street. We absolutely hope to stay here again.

Beautiful House with Lake View

We had a great stay at this house with a group of couples. The house was pristine when we checked in and the host was incredibly accessible for questions. We were pleasantly surprised by the thought put into guest experience by the hosts. Location was very convenient for Seneca Lake wineries and the view from the back deck was beautiful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great time on the lake!

Comfortable and clean

The house was comfortable and clean. It was thoughtfully laid out. There were a host of small touches that made this a great place to stay. It is the little things like the towels and the roku that make it feel like a home away met a resort. My husband loved the shower. The pictures do not do it justice.

Beautiful home, great location

We truly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was beautifully decorated and modern, well equipped with everything you need, and very clean. The view out the back is amazing! We enjoyed the beautiful sunrises. The deck is large and so nice for relaxing with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The location was great, not too far from Watkins Glen and Geneva, and close to many wineries and breweries. The owners were quick to respond to my messages about recommendations, etc. Highly recommend this home for your stay in FLX!

Amazing home!

I booked this home with some friends for a last minute getaway. I have no idea why this place was still available on one day's notice, because it is fabulous! Immaculately clean, well-equipped with everything that we could have possibly needed and centrally located. We loved it here, and spent hours sitting on the huge deck looking at the lake. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. It is amazing!!

We just returned from a wonderful girls getaway weekend. The property is in a quiet area with lake views and equipped with everything we needed. It's a nicely decorated, modern home with comfortable beds. It was close most of the wineries we wanted to visit and not far from the town of Watkins Glen. The owners were very responsive and great to deal with!

Such a great house!!

This was the perfect house for our trip to Seneca Lake! We did a wine tour Friday and Saturday and this was the perfect location to go to the wineries on the west side of the lake. Our favorite wineries were Miles Wine Cellar (cool old house and right ON the lake; has wine, beer, cider & mixed cocktails), Fox Run (great wines), Hermann J Weimer (great wines), Hillick & Hobbs (other side of the lake with great views), Magnus Ridge (pretty tasting room) and of course Belhurst Castle is a must see. The house was the perfect size for 3 couples and was well-stocked with everything! It was SO CLEAN and updated. The deck/patio/yard area was huge and we barbecued and hung out outside every night. Check in was super easy and communication with the owners of the property was great. We will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful house!

Couples Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise at the Sawmill. The house is beautiful, very well-equipped/comfortable, the views were awesome, and the welcome bottle of wine was a very nice touch. Watching the Sunrise was a special experience. It was a great central location and was perfect for us (2 couples). We hiked/visited Watkins Glen SP, Taughannock SP, Seneca SP, & Keuka Outlet Trail and were able to go to several wineries - Zugibe for music, dinner & sunset, Tabora (great bakery & deli too), Weimer, Dr Frank, Weis, & Atwater. We also explored the towns of WG, Geneva, and Hammondsport. All are worth a visit! Our host, Travis, was incredible. Very communicative before the trip - he even copied their book of recommendations and sent it ahead of time. He checked in on the day we got there to make sure all was ok and again on the day we left to see how everything went. We would absolutely recommend staying here and hopefully, we will visit again too!

Beautiful home near Seneca Lake!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! Travis was easy to work with and answered all questions quickly when booking and during our stay! The house is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. We enjoyed the speaker system, the fireplace on a rainy day, and watching the sunrise on the back deck. We especially enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. The house is nicely decorated, very clean and the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again if in the area. We had a lot of fun in the area going to breweries, wineries, Watkins Glen State Park, Geneva, Corning, and Ithaca and explored on several hikes.

Adorable newly renovated house!!!

Hands down best rental we’ve stayed at! The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was especially nice to have the beds already made and linens organized and ready for use. All the supplies for cooking and cleaning were also provided and easily accessible. Even the arrival and departure instructions were listed at the house and online. The host was always ready to provide a prompt response with several of our inquiries. The listing of wineries, restaurants, breweries and treat locations made our planning so easy! If we happen to visit this area for a part 2 vacay we will definitely book here again!

Beautiful house on Seneca Lake

I would highly recommend this house for your getaway to Seneca Lake. The house is beautifully decorated, and the view is amazing. It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was labeled and the guest guidebook included detailed instructions. The house was convenient to the wineries, breweries, and restaurants we wanted to visit in Watkins Glen, Geneva and Penn Yan. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. This is one of the nicest VRBO rentals we have stayed at! We hope to visit again soon!

Excellent location with everything you need

We could not have asked for a better experience! Sunrise at Sawmill is in a perfect location to explore all three lakes. The property itself was super clean and had everything we could possibly need to feel at home.

Having fell in love with both the Finger Lakes, NY & Orlando, FL locations, we are happy to host you at both locations. Don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations! After 5 years of traveling the Finger Lakes region, we fell in love and wanted a place of our own. Seneca Lake has always been our favorite lake in the region and knew this was where we wanted to buy property. Eight months of searching online and numerous day trips to see houses, we knew as soon as we step foot in this house that it was the one! We immediately fell in love with the details the sellers had put into the home and that it was recently renovated. The view of the lake from the living room window and deck by far was the icing on the cake!
