** Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee:
The USVI government assesses a US$25 per-night, per-villa Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee to vacation ownership Guests, as implemented in 2016. This fee is based on the villa being occupied and will be added to the Guest folio at check-out.
** Chemical Sunscreen Ban:
Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33‑0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
• As of Dec. 31, 2019, the importing of products with the banned chemicals for sale will be illegal.
• As of Sept. 30, 2020, the selling, offering for sale and distributing of products with these chemicals will be illegal.
• As of Jan. 1, 2021, the use, possession or bringing of products with these chemicals into the U.S. Virgin Islands will be illegal.
