Cool Pines Family cabin 2 hrs from the valley

CABIN:
This cabin is completely furnished, and you will have the entire place to yourselves; however, there is an upstairs unit (bunkhouse) above the detached garage (on the same property) which may be rented at the same time (they stay in their space majority of the time) and their parking is right at the garage door. My sister also parks her trailer here and may come up during the week for a few days and leave. They do not need the use of the cabin at all!

If you are bringing an animal with you, there is an additional $250 per pet fee (non-refundable) that is due after you reserve the unit but is paid directly to owner (to avoid extra vrbo fees set on top of it). If not paid, it will be collected through the resolution center. (A few bad dogs ruined it for the rest.) Please account and calculate for this additional $250 if you intend to bring an animal. Please bring a kennel for your pet and have them kenneled while you are away or during the sleep hours. There is NO doggie door (or permanent fencing) so you must plan to take your pet outside regularly on a leash.

Accommodation for toiletries, necessities, etc. are available for a few days only; like a weekend, (depending on the size of your group and how frequent the use). You will need to purchase those items for the rest of your stay.

All reservations will be pending until a cleaning person can be committed to your reservation. $250 set rate for cleaning uness you have a group 5 or more then it is $50/hr for additional time. Reservations cannot be made too far in advance (no more than 30 days in case current renters want to stay longer). All cleanings will be done on a thursday so you know what days you can book (Fri thru Wed) or a few weeks at a time.

Parking for the cabin is on the street side, in front of the cabin or between cabin and garage on cabin side.

This 1 story cabin sleeps 6 guests (and possibly 2 more with a blow-up mattress), it's 1250 sq ft with 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, located on a quiet street in Forest Lakes Estates.

Bedrooms include:
- Bedroom 1: Master - Queen Bed
- Bedroom 2: King bed and 1 Twin beds
- Living room – 1 twin bed

Please recycle. It is brought back to the valley for recycling.

Garbage is a large green container over by the storage shed and is picked up early Wednesdays mornings.

Coffee maker available with grounds in cabinet container labeled coffee, and the toaster is for bread (not bagels).

TV in living room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom all have TVs for streaming only.

There is a lockbox to the right of the grill with 1 key to the front door. Inside the cabin there is an additional key. Please keep the 1 key inside the lockbox and return (at time of departure) the additional key to the key hook by coffee maker.

Use of living room TV and internet information is on a card by the spare key.

Please leave all used towels and used bedding on the ground when departing.

Quiet times are 10 pm thru 7 am.

Do not put any left-over containers into the microwave. Put food on a plate or bowl and reheat. Failure to do so will incur additional expenses through the resolution center.

Smoking is NOT allowed inside, but smokers can smoke outside only, 25' away from the cabin. Owner is extremely allergic to cigarette smoke and it's after affects.

Heat is available if needed, thermostat behind tree in living room, but must be set at 52 degrees when you leave or when not in use.

There are security cameras inside the downstairs portion of the garage and outside the units.

The only fires allowed on this property is the propane gas fireplace on the porch. No campfires are allowed on this property.

Only human waste can go to the septic tank -- no Feminine hygiene products or toilet paper can go down the drains/toilet.

This is a very peaceful, quick get-away up in the cool pines about 2+ hrs from the valley.

You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the White Mountains, the Apache/Sitgreaves National Forest in a very quiet part of Forest Lakes Estates on the Mogollon Rim. There are 3 lakes close by and 4 more off road some distance away. Lots of hiking and forest to explore, fishing, Kayaking, off roading, and biking (off road) or it's great to just relax on the porch!

There are many more activities (shopping, restaurants, hiking, walking paths, cycling, etc.) outside this area in Heber (20 miles away) or Payson (40 miles). Forest Lakes has 2 general stores; the General Store, located at the west end of this community and the Rim Resort Store, located at the east end, which has gas pumps. There is only 1 restaurant in town, 260 Roadhouse Restaurant, who limits their hours, so go online for their updated hours of operation. There is 1 hotel in town and plenty of cabin rentals available.
