1 Bedroom House with bathroom, living room and kitchen: includes covered patio, view of Smith river, dunes and ocean. Comes furnished with washer and dryer and complete kitchen plus internet access.
No neighbors, owners next door. Plenty of parking space, one covered. Very close to and Kayak rental is next door on 101.

This home is a peaceful gem!!!

This quiet comfortable stay greatly exceeded our expectations! First of all, we could see the ocean waves crashing into the waters of the smith river right from the dining area! The house is impeccably clean, and the hosts have provided every detail to make you feel welcome and at home (lots of bedding, towels, dishes, lighting…even a box of Kleenex in every room!)(a little detail that many homes lack!) We were so spoiled with the peace and quiet…made it hard to appreciate our next stay at a hotel up the coast. We wanted to come back to smith river!!

Smith River Comfort

This was my third stay and I love this cozy place to work remotely while i visit my daughter and grand babies. There are places to walk to the ocean and to enjoy incredible views with the privacy and safety that a single traveler really appreciates. LOVE THIS PLACE. I will be back.

Perfect Getaway

We rented this spot for a 3 day weekend. It was perfect and we loved that it was close to everything we wanted to see while visiting. We are planning a second trip to the coast and would use this rental again. It’s hard to find places that will allow us to vacation with our dogs so this spot was absolutely perfect.

Smith River retreat

It is a great location, loved the little patio, and loved the quiet. The house is super comfortable: big bedroom, kitchen has everything you need to cook or heat up leftovers, good space for watching TV or hanging out. I’m not a fan of Glade air fresheners, but once I put them outside it was fine

Amazing property!

My sister and I stopped here on our way from San Francisco to Seattle and this property was perfect! We were able to wash our clothes and take nice hot showers and the beds were SO comfy! The hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly. You can sit out back and listen to the ocean waves. We can’t recommend this property more!

Best equipped kitchen EVER!

This place may appear plain on the outside, but it is a gem inside. Everything you need to fix a gourmet meal and a nice quiet location to come back to after a day out exploring the redwoods. Plus a washer and dryer! Don't hesitate to book this rental.

Cozy, Clean, and well stocked!!!

What a wonderful little gem in the last few miles of California. If we are ever in the area again we will return, for sure!!! Great location, loved walking down by the mouth of the river and watching the sea lions, great place to visit the redwoods but don’t miss the beach in Crescrnt city, it is pretty spectacular as well!! Thanks for making us feel like we were home, Cookies and fruit were a great extra touch!!!

This guest house is absolutely wonderful. It is spotlessly clean and the decor is ultra cozy. It features an extremely well stocked kitchen with premium appliances. Partial ocean and river views from in and out side of the house. Great seating options for indoors or outdoors. Beautiful and peaceful property in a great location for exploring the coast and the redwood forests. I wish we had planned to stay longer!!!

Perfect getaway to see Redwoods

We were so impressed with all the amenities in this rental. They really thought of everything! The photos don’t do this place justice…the view of the ocean and the mouth of the Smith river is just breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The view can be enjoyed right from the living room with its many windows. Overall we give this place 5/5 stars and will try to book again if we’re in the area!

Sea lions on the beach nearby.

You can hear the ocean from the porch. Go out drive, turn left, then take first left on Mouth of Smith River Road. There is beach access at end of road. There were over 65 sea lions on a sandbar out from the beach playing, fishing, and laying around. Great to watch!

The Best Cabin!

This cabin is plain on the outside but beautiful inside! It is pristine and well-stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, you name it! It has a huge washer and dryer which is convenient when you're traveling. It has 2 TVs. Its perfectly situated above the Smith.River which you can glimpse from the large windowes. The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring redwoods to the south, and haystacks, sand dunes, and lake country to the north. I had the best time, and my dog didnt want to leave! I would return in a second!

Such a beautiful place. Easy walk to Rivers end where we saw pelicans. seals and otters. Quail were even running around the yard. Even saw a fox one evening run across the yard. Quiet and very peaceful. Great place to relax. Never wanted to leave.

Peaceful Paradise

What a wonderful place to stay! This place checks all the boxes! Beautiful Views! Trail to river/beach! Pet friendly! Peace and quiet! Wildlife! Just awesome. The host is exceptional and has the place stocked. The air fryer was a welcome surprise. We'd love to stay again. Thank you!
