Feel miles away, yet close to all the fun. 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 minutes to the trendy bars and restaurants of West Asheville. With a convenience store just a short walk from the front door. Free WiFi, Cable and NO PET FEE.

Enjoy the large fenced yard with gas BBQ, porch, and fire pit. After a day of adventures, relax under the rainfall shower heads in the newly renovated bathrooms.

Very nice home! Beautifully decorated and updated bathrooms. The outside patio was so nice. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dig. We had plenty of room.

Baseball Tournament

We came up to stay for a baseball tournament and brought our dogs along. It was just as described. The dogs absolutely loved the large fenced in yard. It was only 10 minutes from the ball-field which made it very convenient for that. We loved the decorations and made sure to greet Eugene! We would definitely stay here again

Great Energy!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The energy and decor of the space felt so wonderful. Best sleep I have ever had at a VRBO. Quiet and peaceful, great yard for the dogs and wonderful little touches so they felt at home too.

Dreamy mountain stay

Great for near Asheville

We love how dog friendly Asheville is and this place was ideal. Nice fenced in yard complete with a place to sit and have morning coffee while the dog ran around. Nice rooms and nicer than average towels. Host was easy to work with.

Cute little house

We had a great time at this cute house. It was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Sam was super responsive and our dog loved the fence yard. Close enough to Asheville but far enough to enjoy the mountains in a quiet neighborhood.

I rented this house to visit family & had a family friend stay with me. The house was wonderful, the yard is great for the dog, & the location is perfect for easy access to everything. It’s also very quiet at night. I couldn’t have chosen any better.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sam's property. The house was clean and a perfect set up for us and our dog. Sam thought of everything for our dog, including dog bowls, towels, and a clean up station. Our favorite amenity was the fenced in yard and firepit with a view of the mountains. We hope to come back again!

Fun for the whole family

We had a wonderful stay at Sam's cottage. It was clean and comfortable and wonderful for our dog. We left something behind and Sam was responsive and generous with sending it to us which we really appreciated! Great location too. We hope to return in the Spring.

Christmas in Candler

Beautiful property with a beautiful view. My pup loved the whole yard that was fenced in. The sunroom is great and has an awesome view of the mountains. Communication was good with Sam. Getting to places in Asheville were a breeze from here. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

We (couple w dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sam was a gracious host and the home was perfect for us. Extremely clean and the decor was close to how I decorate. Very comfortable beds and so nice having two bathrooms. Close to Asheville and hiking trails. Sam thought of everything to make for a perfect stay. Thank you Sam.

Easy access to all of Asheville plus

Nice location! We visited all the major districts and found it fairly easy to get around, using our cell phone gps. At the end of our day we could chill out in a quiet area with a lovely atmosphere inside and out. A substantially sized, fully fenced yard gave us peace of mind for our two dogs.

Beautiful dog friendly house

We really enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our family of 4 and elderly dog. Loved the nice fenced backyard. Poop bags and dog area in the laundry room with bowls were really convenient. The house itself is beautiful inside too. Loved all the decor and the bathrooms. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Convenient to asheville and hiking as well. We had a wonderful time!

Farmhouse Chic

If bringing your pups and location are your priority this is an amazing place. The fencing is perfect even for professional escape artists like my pups. This house is basically 20 minutes to downtown and lots of great hiking. Host communication is the best I’ve ever experienced. Finally, there is just something special about the home. Can’t quite put a finger on it but it just makes you feel peaceful. Will stay again for sure the next time we are back in the area.

Ultimate Dog Retreat

This was my second time staying here and we absolutely are planning a third visit. The property is well kept, has a beautiful yard perfect for some crazy dogs looking to run. All of the necessities for pet owners are also included like water/food bowls, leash hooks, towels, etc. The location itself was only a 15 minute drive to all the best eats in Asheville and the parkway. We honestly think this is the best place to stay when traveling with dogs in Asheville, looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect respite after exploring Asheville

Nice, quiet, attractive and comfortable location. Easy parking with space between properties. Outside sitting areas. Enclosed front porch. The house is extremely comfortable with a nice sized tv, plenty of amenities and oodles of charging ports for everyone’s cell and tablet. The owner made it all easy! WONDERFUL place!

Wonderful little gem outside of ashville

The place was super cute and newly updated, very clean and all the amenities you could ask for. Sam is a wonderful host, and we loved everything about this place. The yard is pretty big!! We spend a good bit of time out there with the dog and enjoying the fire pit. Conveniently located not a far drive to the city, or blue ridge parkway. Will definitely have to return!!! Thank you for everything, Sam.

This super chic industrial farmhouse vibe has everything you'd need. Places to plug in all of your devices, including USB hubs and side tables with built-in plugs. Toiletries kindly provided. Excellent heating and air system. Keyless entry. Thoughtful spaces for your fur-babies. Nominal, reasonable cleaning requests for checkout. Fun and beautiful art pieces. Staying in this home for 5 days was an absolute pleasure!
