Villa Vida Moderna (Modern Life) is a stunning home has 4 king suites, sleeping up to 10 guests across 6,700 square feet of interior/exterior space.  The home features high speed 200Mbps fiber optic internet with Smart TVs in each room, modern finishes, exquisite furnishings, and every amenity you could want on vacation.

The Location
Coco Bay Estates is a large gated development located between Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal. Tucked off the main road, you are just a 5-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Playas del Coco. Guests can access the development’s Clubhouse which is home to a large pool, gym, tennis courts, and pickleball courts as well as a delicious restaurant, Sugoi.

Playas del Coco is just a 25-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!

Not a single detail has been missed in this home - High end whole house Bluetooth sound system, patio tables with built-in ice buckets, a massive covered BBQ area, coolers and pools floats, are just some of the amenities you'll enjoy.  Every room and terrace space offers views of the Pacific Ocean and the lush landscape surrounding the home.

The main floor of the home opens to a wall of windows that overlook the ocean and the surrounding mountains.  The living room has a large, comfortable couch and a 65" Smart TV with doors that open to the covered terrace.  The elegant dining space has seating for 8 plus there is a breakfast bar seating for 6 at the kitchen island.  The sprawling kitchen has 2 fridges (both a full-size and a dual-zone bar fridge), 48" commercial grade gas range with 6 burners and grill cook top, dual ovens plus an electrical wall oven, a coffee bar, and is perfectly appointed with small appliances and kitchen amenities.  The main floor has a separate laundry room and half bath as well.  Just off the living area is the first of 4 bedrooms.  This room, the principal bedroom, has a King bed, 43" Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker system, remote blackout blinds, patio doors that open to the covered terrace, a HUGE closet and large ensuite bathroom featuring double sinks, a stand-up shower, and bathtub with ocean views.

Step outside to the main floor terrace that spans the length of the home.  There is a covered outdoor kitchen with an additional dual-zone bar fridge, a massive professional 42" Napoleon gas BBQ, and bar seating for 3 plus a dining table for 6.  A comfortable lounge area includes a sofa and 2 chairs that sit in the shade under the terrace overhang.  Beyond that are 6 lounge chairs, all surrounding the infinity-edge, pool.  NEW in June 2024 - a pool heater has been installed for guests' comfort. The terrace also has an outdoor shower, half bath, and a large grassy area perfect for reading a book or lounging in the afternoon sun.

The second level of the home starts in a den area with a wet bar, dual-zone bar fridge, and a sleeper sofa for additional guests. The hallway connects to 3 additional bedrooms, each with a King bed, 43" Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker system, a large closet, remote blackout blinds, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a large shower stall.  Every bedroom opens to the second-level balcony with sweeping views and a private sitting area overlooking the pool.  The home has a gated entry, security system and driveway parking for several cars.

Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car for their stay, which we can assist with!  The driveway to the home is short, but quite steep, as the home is perched high in the hills of the development. The property is not accessible on foot or golf cart. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver.
