Great location; Nice older home

The house was very nice and comfortable. Bathrooms were updated. The location was perfect. Close to Riverside park and downtown Victoria. Also, Victoria is nicely situated as it's close to the coast, Cuero, and Goliad.

Lovely old house

We were very impressed with the updated kitchen and loved the antiques. Bedroom with king was very comfortable. The queen bed squeaked every time of movement plus heard the train through out the night from that bedroom.

Cozy and comfortable

The home is a cozy little jewel tucked into the historic district of Victoria. It was the perfect place for a girls getaway.

Inviting and clean

Pros- Very clean, peaceful, and nicely decorated. Asthethically, very beautiful.Cons- Our bathroom towels in master bath were damp, and the person who lives across the street parks directly at the end of the driveway making it difficult for vehicles to back out of the driveway. Overall, we definitely recommend staying with this host and would stay again. Thank you!

Quiet spot downtown

Nice and quiet location relative to downtown and central to Victoria, exactly as represented--clean, well-furnished, with numerous updates and plenty of space for a family gathering. Would select again.

A Charmer

Wonderful, comfortable , great location in old Victoria. The house is modern and updated on the inside with everything you need for a short or longer stay while retaining it's "old world" charm on the exterior. Would definitely recommend !

We loved this home away from home, I am from the area, and came home to visit, hoping this home is available everytime I come back in the future.. The bed was soooo comfy, the home was very lovely and such a victorian antique feel, with modern touches... I was very pleased to find a vacation rental in the area...I only wish I could of stayed longer...

Perfect place and location

Check in process was easy and convenient. The house was located in a good neighborhood and easy to find. i personally love that the house was not overly decorated as we have small children so less for them to get into. Even though we did not need the kitchen for our stay, it did seem to be stocked very well. There was plenty of space to park as well. We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit our family.

Excellent, peaceful area to stay

Excellent quite, convenience area central location. The house is simply beautiful ❤️ and will be using it again. Since I travel to Victoria, to visit family. I live in Hondo,Tx 28 miles from San Antonio. It's worth the drive and stay I experienced. Elvira ,elvirac5254@gmail.com

Observations

The property was eclectic with a mix of modern bathrooms and appliances and rustic furnishings. There were very few clothes hangers in the closet. There were no directions on how to operate the T.V. And we were unable to watch or locate sports channels. There was information on WiFi but that was it. The best feature was location.

Cute and cozy home in Victoria Heights

The house was perfect for a visit with my dad. It was comfortable and even bigger than the pictures portrayed. Plenty of space for us to spread out and enjoy each other's company. The location made for great walks in the beautiful part of Old Victoria and easy access to downtown. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn't get to enjoy the backyard, which would have been nice to let the pups loose and on the patio enjoy a cocktail or two. We look forward to renting the home, again, as it made for a more intimate visit with dad, who lives in an assisted living community, so more of a staycation for him. Super cute home!

Husband’s Memorial

I was in town for my husband’s memorial. Being Father’s Day I did not want to mess with over crowded restaurants and cold food. I hosted a light summer lunch for 8 and the home worked beautifully. Will certainly use it again

Wonderful house in downtown Victoria!!

My husband and I absolutely loved this house. It had everything we needed and more. It was so clean & comfortable. One minor thing was that the master shower just had a partial glass, so I was splashing water on the floor, and it would have been nice to have a closed shower to keep me warmer. We were in town for a wedding, so we didn't have much time to use the kitchen and just enjoy this awesome house.

Cozy and Cute

The house was adorable and was portrayed just as the photos showed. The rooms were very spacious. The location was right in the center of down town and easy to access. The only disadvantage was both bathrooms were not cleaned at all and we had to clean ourselves. The Fridge also needed to be cleaned inside. This may have just been overlooked this time but overall a very cozy and cute house and would recommend staying here.

Doesn’t sleep 6

This is a BEAUTIFUL property and would 1000% stay here again, but this property DOES NOT SLEEP SIX! We were a little upset to find the sofa (we assumed was a sleeper sofa from the pictures) was in fact NOT a sleeper. Two of our guests didn’t have a bed! One slept on the leather sofa and the other on the hardwood floor! Summary: PERFECT place for FOUR guests, maybe 5 if they don’t mind sleeping on a cold leather sofa, but definitely NOT six.
