Not so Clean
Communication with Cody was prompt. They responded quickly to inquires. We had a little difficulty with the front door locking but we got that figured out with Cody’s help. Upon entry the unit appeared shabby and in need of a deep thorough cleaning. Upstairs in the bedrooms and living room there was noticeable dust and dirt on the tables. In fairness I did not notify Cody, I just dusted myself. The bathroom seemed clean but the kitchen did not. The floor was filthy and the tea kettle base was sticky. The ice maker and water dispenser did not work on the fridge and the inside of the fridge and freezer could use wiping down. But the worst thing was the mouse droppings in the baking sheets that were kept in the bottom drawer of the oven. The stove top had leftover food spills on it that I cleaned before use. Supplies in the kitchen were also lacking. There was only one spatula and three wood spatulas. No large spoons, ladles, etc. I was concerned about the safety of the unit since there were many extension cords in use. While using the clothes dryer it shut off when the coffee maker was turned on. None of the GFI tripped, the dryer just stopped working. The A/C is also a little wonky. It did not blow in the upstairs bedroom but blasted in the bathroom, even when adjusting the thermostat. Again, I did not mention this to Cody. We were only there two nights and gone most of the day. This could be a really great place to stay with a deep cleaning and attention to detail.
