As added plus, sit outside on the small deck and enjoy the best of Ruidoso! Also there's a small completely and securely fenced area for your small dog traveling companion. Plus this great little hide-a-way is literally just steps to the center of Ruidoso's quaint Midtown walking district filled with shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife!

Awesome location

Perfect place for two. Literally can’t be any closer to downtown shops. Very nice, small and cozy especially during the colder weather months. Definitely will be back.

Peaceful stay

As my husband and i are in our 70's we found thre place but the parkng is too far Way and somewhat dangerous due to distance bad staiway in rear too far to carry your stuff up to the room. The property person evidently alled the realtor 2 properties over and asked if we could park there. My suggestion is ask them to always allow this for saety an possibly make a safe set of steps there fror safer access to the rental. Was very nice.

Everything was great, very clean, and nice. Only disappointment was the small yard was not escape proof for my small dog, even though there is a fenced in yard. He could get out by going under the stairs. Other than that, I loved it!

Bad luck.

We were unable to find the property initially. Then with the size of my vehicle, were unable to find any suitable parking. We ended up getting a hotel room. I should’ve done my due diligence before hand. Lesson learned. I wish it would’ve worked out better because it’s a very nice looking property.

Weekend getaway

Loved staying at this little cabin ! Very clean , just the right size for Me, my husband and our small dog . Was right off the main shopping street so we just walked everywhere we went . Sat out on Balcony and could listen to the band play . We saw Deer , and about three racoons . The horse buggy ride was in the parking lot right next to us so we got to see the horses also. The ONLY downfall was there wasn't parking right next to the cabin , I have a brand new car and was a little nervous about parking out on the street ( you can park on the road behind the cabin ) and there is a little trail going to the cabin . every thing worked out though and we had no problems at all :) We would defiantly stay here again !

location is great.

The instructions emailed to open the property was not accurate. The instructions refer to a lock box located at the top of the steps. The lock box is not being used. The code supplied is for the door combination on the entry. It was explained once I was able to get the property manager to call me back. Unfortunately, the previous renters dog tore the blinds on the entry french doors. Duct tape was used as a temporary fix. The blinds provide privacy for the bedroom. The duct tape was not a very efficient fix. The blinds kept falling. The blinds were eventually replaced by the property manager / Maintenace. We had new blinds for the final night of our stay.
