The Zermatt Resort & Spa is a 4-Star Resort & Spa nestled in the Wasatch mountains next to Deer Valley and Park City in beautiful Midway, Utah. Midway is an idyllic Swiss-themed mountain village with a vibrant Main Street that boasts unique shopping and great independent restaurants/bakeries. The Zermatt Resort is only 15 minutes from Sundance, Deer Valley, and Park City, making it an ideal spot to experience a variety of venues and attractions such as Midway's Soldier Hollow--an official 2002 Winter Olympic venue.

Also nearby are two of the state's top rated golf courses--Soldier Hollow & Wasatch Mountain. Both courses are consistently ranked among the best courses in the state. The Deer Creek & Jordanelle Reservoirs are very popular during the Summer months. They offer every kind of water sport activity from swimming to boating and everything in between. Rentals for paddle boards, kayaks, and more are available at the respective marinas.

Last but not least, these mountains are home to some of the best mountain biking trails in the country. Mountain bike and ATV rentals are also available on site at the Resort. Host is great

We had a small problem with the room not being exactly what we booked. The host scott took care of the problem and upgraded us to a much better room. I highly recommend booking any property with Scott.

Nice cozy room

Pool area was not clean. Littered with garbage, bandaids, and other unclean issues. This location needs to have the pool area monitored more closely. The room was great.

Nice and great property manager

Our stay was nice, room was clean and comfortable. Property manager was flexible with us on a timing request we had.

Nice room on OK property. Good price compared to even the hotel conference rate. Scotts communication is good. Stay in this suite if you come to Zermatt.

The property was amazing but the communication with the supposed 24/7 never occurred. It could use a little bit more eating utensils for the small kitchenette and possibly a pot or a and or a pan

We had a bad experience with this property. The tool itself was okay. However, all of the interior locks in the door had been disabled. After settling in for the night someone accesses the exterior lock and walks directly into the room. I yelled at the intruder who then left the room. I went to the door and yelled into the hallway. The individual then said the landlord had given him the door code and told him the room was vacant. I contacted the owner and he said that iit was a mistake and that the individual was supposed to be in a different room. He did send someone to change the code at 11:30. So much for a good nights sleep. I can understand the mistake, however why disable the interior locks? It truly creates a potentially dangerous situation. The owner was apologetic but not overly so.

Great room - service left us wanting

PROS: The room was lovely. We enjoyed the fireplace and king bed. The shower pressure and flexible shower head was nice. It had a mini fridge, microwave, a small two burner stovetop, and a sink. It was nice having access to the resort amenities like the pool, which was right down the hall. The internet worked well. Once we received the information, the keypad for the door made for easy, smooth entry. CONS: Scott, the property host, had signs in several places saying he offered 24/7 service, which would've been useful given the fact that Zermatt does NOT service this room. However, we didn't receive any check-in information until five minutes before check-in time. After arriving a few minutes early and not being able to get ahold of Scott, it started making us very nervous. We also never heard back from him after sending multiple messages via VRBO and text for check out. The AC didn't work very well, and we had zero phone service in the room and had to leave the room to send any texts or calls. This isn't the property owner's fault, but the hot tubs were broken during our stay and cold, and our upstairs neighbors were very loud. Although there's a nice kitchenette available, there were no dishes or pans available to make it useable. We figured there would at least be some mugs, but there were only plastic cups and paper towels. There were some outdated signs about leaving towels in the hamper, but there was no hamper. No mini lotion bottles or tissues, standard complimentary hotel items. Overall, we really did enjoy our stay at Zermatt and saved quite a bit of money going this route rather than through the hotel. But the room signage could use some updating, and the host needs to be more responsive if you're going to boast about being available 24/7. We only heard back from the host once and it seemed like an automated message with check-in info.
