Cozy cottage next to Lake Leelanau and walking distance from FishTown and Lake Michigan. Well equipped kitchen for great meals, beautiful hardwood floors and centrally located in the town of Leland, Michigan. Great place to stay if visiting the wine country and coming for the Color Tours.

Best of Both Worlds

This house is perfectly located a block away from Lake Leelanau and a pleasant stroll or bike ride into beautiful Leland. It has three spacious bedrooms, a table and chairs to dine outside and an outdoor grill. The owner was kind enough to let us use his kayaks and bikes, which was a huge plus!

July Getaway

This was my first experience renting a VRBO property, and it was just wonderful! The property manager is very responsive and kind, and the home was cozy. My family really enjoyed our July get away!

Perfect family home in Leland

Really enjoyed our stay at Bradley’s house in Leland. 2 adults & 2 kids. Short walk to Lake Leelanau & 10 minute walk to town. Bradley was super helpful and responsive with any questions. We hope to rent the property again!

Quiet, comfortable relaxation

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location was perfect for exploring the area and activities. About a half a block from Lake Leelenau for swimming and kayaking, and a ten minute walk to downtown Leland and Lake Michigan. It is a very quiet neighborhood of nice homes. The big fenced in back yard was ideal for bringing our dog who enjoyed the vacation as much as we did. The property has many great amenities and is comfortable for just relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.

Unhappy

We rented this home for our employees to stay at when they were working in the area. Only one working smoke detector, prescription medicine in the cupboard, food in the refrigerator and freezer. Lake access is two blocks away, beds were not comfortable, lights were not working. We will not be renting this property again.

The BEST property!

We had a lovely stay. Owners were super hospitable and to our surprise offered kayaks to bring to the lake! The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed including a lemon/lime squeezer for the homemade margs. Beds were super comfy, backyard was full of flowers and a huge grill and perfect for our pup to stay safe and be with us. Could not recommend this property more. We’ve been coming to Leland since our kids were babies (they are now in college) and my husband said this was his favorite place we’ve ever stayed! Thank you!

Charming house in perfect location!

We had a girls weekend here and found this to be the perfect space for us! The house had personality and charm. We had fun perusing the art displayed and book collection. The beds were super comfy, which is frequently not the case at a vrbo. The host had clearly put some thought into our stay, leaving us fresh flowers, coffee and cream, etc. Such a nice surprise! He communicated promptly and was easy to reach. Very happy with our stay here!

Terrible Experience

The host was pleasant, however, the house was absolutely filthy. It's disappointing there isn't an option to post pictures. There was mold on the shower curtain, the butcher block counter in the kitchen, on the lid of the kitchen trash can as well as the light switches. There were spider webs and bugs in the living and dining room. The porch railing was falling off. The storm door didn't close. The grill was covered in rust. There was tape on the bathroom floor to cover a bare spot in the flooring. There was a big hole in the bathroom wall that an electrical cord was running out of...perfect for bugs and rodents to get through and obviously unsafe. The fence, which was the reason we booked this house, was falling down in the back corner so we still had to leash our dogs. There were countless other thing that are too many to list here. Had we been able to find another place to stay, we would have left the next morning after checking in. We filed a complaint with VRBO and sent the numerous pictures we took, but are still waiting for a response. We were told the host was contacted, but we have not heard from him either. After seeing the pictures we would have certainly thought, at the absolute least, the cleaning fee we paid would have been refunded. This was the first time booking through VRBO, and the lack of concern from their complaint department, as well as the host, for such a terrible experience will most certainly make it the last time.
