Summary:
RelaxStation is a unique 1 bed/bath private home that was once an old gas station, now thoughtfully transformed into a cozy retreat. This property is located right off the highway slightly outside of Fredericksburg, with great indoor/outdoor spaces to relax and recharge! Soak in the hot tub, unwind around the fire pit after a day of fun in Fredericksburg, get a great night's rest in the luxurious king-sized bed, whip up a meal in the full kitchen or enjoy your morning coffee on the patio.

The Space:
This space is a large 1bedroom/1bath with great exclusive outside Fredericksburg Views. You are not surrounded by neighbors, you are located off the highway. Managed by Heavenly Hosts

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property. With code access to front door.

The Neighborhood:
No Neighborhood. Located right off HWY 87. This property is at the location of an old gas station that has been renovated and flipped into a vacation rental home.

Getting Around:
You will have access to HWY 87 + we do offer Luxury Private Transportation Services, please reach out to us directly for details and scheduling!

Other Things to Note:
Suitable for children/infants, property is close to a highway - please be cautious and never leave your child unattended

Pet are allowed: There is a pet fee of $35 per pet/per night (plus taxes) and ONLY 1 small pet allowed (with crate) with a 25 lb limit. Pet fee is not automatically included in the total, it's added after booking is confirmed. *Please know there are holes in the fence. Pets are not allowed on any furniture/beds. Please pick up after your pet(s). Pets must be kenneled if ever unattended.

- Security Camera: We have one security camera (RING) on the front porch looking toward parking area/highway.

Perfect for us

This property was perfect for our stay in the Fredericksburg area. Clean and cleverly decorated. Comfortable and quiet in the bedroom. Highway noise was not a problem, at all.

Perfect Little Spot

Very clean, very well decorated and flipped. It is small. I would say the right size for a couple and 1 small child. Perfect place for a romantic getaway… I already have plans to come back with my husband! Only negative is the highway noise- but that’s to be expected! So, just be mindful- and it’s really not that bad.

Great Unique Place Outside of Town

This place is great! It’s an old refurbished gas station. Don’t let that fool you. If I didn’t tell you you’d never know it - until maybe you arrive and look at the front. It’s laid out really nice, very clean. 1 large bedroom and large bath, large kitchen and living area. You walk out the back door from the master, down the steps, into a good sized washroom. From there you can go out the back door to the large backyard. It has a nice seating area covered with a canopy. There’s a grill and burn pit, and a nice hot tub to relax in. There’s some talk about getting here with GPS. I’ll make it simple for you. It’s 9.8 miles south of Fredericksburg on Hwy 87. It’s exactly halfway between Fredericksburg and Comfort on the east side of the road. We actually rode out a bad winter blast in this place. It was as low as 14 degrees and this place stayed toasty warm. Management was very responsive on the VRBO app. The only thing I wish was the basement ‘The Pit’ of the old gas station was unlocked - but since it was an old gas station I can understand why it’s not. 5 Stars!!

Very Quaint & Charming

I was very intrigued by this converted gas station. It turned out to be beautifully decorated and absolutely charming. They did an amazing job. If you are looking for solitude....this is It. There was no one around us. The bed was so comfortable. The only downfall to this property is traffic noise. I knew it was right off a highway. We live in a a direct flight path to DFW Airport. I did not think cars would bother me, but they did. The high speed limit, blacktop road and rolling hills made the cars sound very loud. It did not seem to bother my husband as much, so maybe I am overly sensitive. All in all we loved our stay.

Mostly very nice, couple things to consider

The house is very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. -road noise: obviously this converted gas station is right off the highway. I wasn’t sure how busy of a road it is, but it is pretty loud and traffic is pretty consistent. -pet friendly: the house is listed as pet friendly. I clearly stated in my request that we were bringing 2 dogs. After the booking went through we received the house rules that dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture and if they got on the furniture an extra cleaning fee would be added. I’ve just never had this stipulation in a Vrbo or similar rental listed as pet friendly. It stressed me out a fair bit, but I respect anyone’s rules about their property, I just wish I had known before booking to choose a different spot. The $150 pet fee was also added the day after we arrived due to a communication error, but I was very upfront with bringing one large dog and one small dog. -the backyard is gorgeous and peaceful. The hot tub is very nice.

Weekend Getaway

The remodel of this old gas station is incredible! It is close to the highway, but the road noise wasn't that bad at all. The hot tub was really nice and my husband and I enjoyed looking at the stars while relaxing. Our GPS did not get us to the correct address, but we did find it. GPS said we were there about 10 miles from the house. Overall, it was a great stay.

35th Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and true to the pictures in listing. The kitchen was well stocked! We had everything we needed. Although it rained most of our stay we did have a quick dip in the hot tub! It was super clean and Hot, we enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Loved everything about the Rest Station

Ingenious to take an old gas station and make a cute Vrbo. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is very comfortable and super clean. I loved the location. Close enough to downtown area, but far enough to get away. Catalina & Laura made checkin and checkout seemless. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and instant oatmeal. We didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or patio in the back, but it looked very comfortable. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is very nice. I really loved the feel of the whole place. This little place is right off the highway so you definitely hear traffic. The hosts have included a sound machine in the bedroom, so I’m sure that’s helpful, if needed. We didn’t need it. The bedroom is in the back of the place and traffic was lighter throughout the night. I don’t hesitate recommending this place to anyone who isn’t a sensitive (noise) sleeper. It’s really great.
