Leave your worries at the door when you enter this adorable, tastefully designed cabin on 3 secluded acres overlooking Whiskey Lake. Relax on the large front porch, or in the roomy Master Suite with King Bed. Watch wildlife thrive all around you or throw out a fishing line while you spend time in nature at this unique, peaceful property. This cabin has been carefully curated with your comfort in mind from the linens all the way to the hand-selected art. Centrally located 8 minutes from downtown.

As of November 2023, there is new construction nearby. You may experience external noise during daytime hours that is out of our control. Please consider this before booking.

Whiskey Lake -

Great home for a quiet get away. Recently remodeled and beautifully decorated through out. We watched the deer and rabbits feed each morning off of the porch while drinking coffee. What a treat! Great value!

Cozy Cabin

Very peaceful. The cabin was clean upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable bathrooms roomy and clean. The only negative was that some of the rugs could have been and issue if you weren't paying attention But overall would go a stay again.

50th Birthday weekend for my best friend!

We had a wonderful time at the Whiskey Lake Cabin. It was clean & easy check in & out. The decor was simply amazing & what you'd expect for a cabin on a lake. The beds well let's just say... they're to die for. I'd like to know what kind of mattress is in the master bedroom. I don't believe I've ever slept on a better mattress ever & i'm a picky person when it comes to beds. We saw deer both day's right off the porch. I would give this a 5 star review all the way across the board hands down. So if you're a family or a small party like ours this will be the perfect place for you! Thank you Mrs. Shannon Lydia J. Beautiful, comfortable cabin !

This cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had no problem keeping the temperature inside very comfortable. The master bed was so comfortable I actually slept in late and never do that ! Furnished nicely and had everything the 2 of us needed. Wifi & internet both worked well. It is very isolated ( at the end of a road) and was quiet , calming and relaxing. The lake on the property is beautiful. We would definitely return for a stay! It was very close to Mentone, DeSoto State Park and Georgia.

Beautiful property, needs work inside home.

The property is beautiful. The pond has some great fishing, though you can only access a small part of it and even that area was in need of weed eating. There is a camera on the property that is not disclosed before or after booking. The main issue though was with the master bedroom and bathroom. Master bedroom door is lacking proper hardware and will not click shut much less lock. The master bathroom also cannot be locked. There is zero privacy in the master bed/bath as you can lock neither door. None of that was disclosed upon renting. The only issue we were made aware of when we arrived was a cracked area on the bottom of the back door that made opening and closing it more difficult and it eventually broke the rest of the way while we were there. There is also no way to secure the back door lock. It has a basic lock that anyone with the code could unlock while you’re away or sleeping so that is unsettling. The home really is beautiful but not being able to have privacy really sucked. We also found broken glass in and around the fire pit that needs cleaning. All in all we did have a good time here, but the house and yard need a lot of work.
