Very relaxing!
This is our 5th year of coming to the area. We generally stay in Bar Harbor, but were looking for a place away from the crowds yet close enough to enjoy Acadia National Park. It was so peaceful to come here after a busy day and just relax! The wood burning stove kept the chill away while enjoying the secluded views of the water only footsteps away! Thank you for the memories!
Charming and peaceful retreat
This cottage was exactly as described by the owners. A quaint, Maine cabin right on the water with amazing views. We stayed for a week and loved coming back to this place after busy days of exploring Acadia, Bar Harbor and the surrounding area. While small and rustic, it really was so well equipped with anything you could need during your stay. The owners were so nice to deal with and pretty much thought of all the touches that would make our stay in their cabin more enjoyable. Simple but very homey and charming decor. The location was just beautiful and so peaceful. We loved enjoying the views from the porch, deck or right down the stairs on the little beach. This place definitely added to our Maine experience and I would certainly stay again.
