The Space:
Step into our newly built, modern house and instantly feel at ease. The open-concept living area is designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring stylish furnishings and large windows that frame the magnificent mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances and is perfect for preparing meals with fresh local ingredients.
The living area comes equipped with an air-conditioned to help with the afternoon heat. As Costa Rica is an eco-friendly country we ask that you use the air-conditioning sparingly.
Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and feature comfortable queen-sized beds. Each bedroom comes with its own en-suite bathroom, complete with showers for your convenience. Wake up to the soothing sounds of nature and enjoy the breathtaking views right from your bedroom window.
One of the highlights of our property is the saltwater swimming pool, where you can take a refreshing dip while enjoying the spectacular surroundings. Lounge on the poolside deck, soak up the sun, and let the stresses of everyday life melt away.

I was born and raised in England on the south coast in a town called Bournemouth. I moved to New Orleans in my late teens, then moved again to Panama City Beach Florida about 25 years ago now.
I fell in love with the town of Atenas when I first visited, and had the opportunity to build 2 houses, Mango Sunrise and Paradise Waits. They are both available for rent and I hope to share my piece of Paradise.

Set in the gated community of Rio Grande this safe and quiet neighborhood is a great place to walk around and see the amazing vistas and all the birds and butterflies.

My property managers, Sandra and Marco, a multilingual (English-Dutch-Spanish-German) couple from The Netherlands, are ready to welcome you to Paradise Waits, and will do everything within their power to make your stay a great success. As an additional service to our house guests, they offer a fee-based airport pick-up and drop-off to help you avoid the potential hassles involved in the transitions into and out of your time in Costa Rica (something to particularly consider when you have night-time travel plans, but a nice comfort to have in any event). They also provide car rentals and tours to all corners of the country, including the Poas and Arenal volcanoes, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, a private Catamaran Sailing tour, a visit to an Organic Coffee farm, all kinds of adventurous activities, and tours custom made to our guests' requests throughout Costa Rica.
