Ylellinen mökki upealla näköalalla

Kuljetat lyhyen polun isoin lehtipuutarhaan ennen matkustamista. Et ehkä halua tulla sisään niin kuin olet niin täynnä upea näkymä. Onneksi vieraille, koko etuseinä on lattiasta kattoon ulottuva lasi, joten voit nauttia näkymistä sisältä. Päähuone on avoin olohuone, ruokailutila, keittiö. Länsi-makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode ja itään makuuhuoneessa on kaunis käsintehty kahden hengen vuode ponnahdusikkunatyynyllä. Voin myös muuntaa erilliset vuoteet parisänkyyn. Olohuoneessa on myös vuodesohva, jossa on laadukas patja. TV: llä on satelliitti ja se voidaan piilottaa käsin tehdyssä tammitynnyrissä, jossa ovet avautuvat, jotta päähuoneen kaikkien kulmien katselu on mahdollista. Kaasuputki on muotoiltu puuhella ja lämmittää koko hytin termostaatin kosketuksella. Mökin sisustus on juuri maalattu kokonaan ja siellä on uusi vuodesohva päähuoneessa.

Ei ole harvinaista nähdä hirviötä, hirviä, karhuja, hirvieläimiä, lumikenkäeläimiä ja muita villieläimiä matkustamosta ja ajaa Skywood Preserveen kautta. Varoitus: Et ehkä halua jättää tätä kodikasta design-hyttiä loman lopussa!

Avainsanat: Vierashuone 42 hehtaarin kartanossa yksityisillä porteilla. Vain 8 meripeninkulman päässä Amerikan suurin hiihtohissiin ja 2 kilometriä Meadow Villagalle ja Gallatin-joelle, Sininen Ribbon -taimen virta.

Big Sky Splendor

The property was as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Our family of 4 really enjoyed the outstanding views and tucked away location. We spent our days outdoors but enjoyed returning to the cozy and well equipped cabin at night. I would definitely go back again!

Cabin in the woods

Drive was quite a long “driveway” to gated community. Cabin was small but comfortable. TV offered only streaming services despite the fact that the house had Dish TV. Cleaning fee is VERY expensive considering that the bathroom light had cobwebs and dust & the shower plumbing was held together with electrical tape. No tea pot.

Warm, cozy and Enjoyable

We loved our stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, the hot tub was the best we had ever been in with adjustable jets, and the fireplace was clutch to warm our boots and heat the home. The only thing to keep on mind is that there is a hill to climb from where you park to the door entrance or hot tub. This was not an issue for us but may be something to consider. Outside of that, we highly recommend!! The hosts were great! 10/10 for us.

Perfect cabin in the woods!

We wanted to go to an isolated cabin, surrounded by trees and snow, and this cabin totally delivered. Beautiful property! The temperatures were very cold while we were there but the cabin stayed nice and warm. You park in the owners driveway, it is 100 foot or so hike to the cabin. We did it through snow, but it wasn’t that bad. You do need, in the winter, an AWD or four-wheel-drive vehicle, that was very apparent as we drove to the cabin. Restaurants and groceries were very convenient to the property and it is a short drive to the big sky ski resort. We rarely say that we would visit the same VRBO again, but for this cabin we would.

Great Cabin

Perfect cabin for our quick ski trip to Big Sky. Located near the Town Center, the cabin is very clean and well maintained with all the necessary amenities. Recommend AWD to safely make the drive up the private road in the winter. 20 minutes to Mtn Village at Big Sky. Would definitely stay again and rec to friends/family.

House is exactly what we needed for our visit with family in Big sky. We were able to cook and be together as if at home. The location is convenient to town (minutes) yet completely secluded. Everything is clean and comfortable.

Enjoyed our stay

Laura and Bill have a great place to stay and they are easy to communicate with. As many reviews have mentioned, there is a walk up to the property. As long as you aware of this, the place is great. I would highly recommend AWD or 4WD if staying in the winter. In the summer, it would not matter. There was a comfortable queen bed and stunning views. The owners do have friendly dogs and will work with your comfort level. As I said, they are very easy to talk to and are willing to work with their guest!

Winter wonderland

We had very private cabin to ourselves for a ski trip. The house is ver clean and neat. The view from the house was beautiful. The owner cleaned up the path for us every day. The only down side is the walk from the car to the house, you need to be physically able in the winter.

Neat Place. Be aware 4WD or AWD Necessary.

This is a great property in a beautiful setting. It is very well maintained and clean. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable. Owners Laura and Bill are very good. BE AWARE that if you are booking in winter months, you will NEED all wheel drive to get to the property. The road and driveway get fairly steep in a few places and we left the property early because we were driving a front wheel drive car. Had I known, I would have driven my 4 wheel drive pickup or my wife's AWD.

Perfect private gem

Lovely cabin with well stocked kitchen. Located within a few driving minutes to town and 15 min to the mountain. Owners are very accommodative and responsive to any issues that might occur. I would absolutely book this place again!

Amazing month at Laura's Big Sky Cabin

what a magic month we had at Laura's cabin in the woods. You could not see another home from any windows...the snow fell many days making it magical!! We skied every day but 2 when we snowshoed from our door and then cross country skied at the golf course then went a "short" drive into town to buy some extra clothes and groceries. We cooked on site every night but 1 and just loved the peace and gorgeous views. We plan to come back for another month next year if we can get it before you do!!!

Amazing Cabin

The cabin is amazing and was exactly as described. Laura is a responsive host and was very accommodating and helpful (we had some travel issues and lost bags as this trip happened during the great Southwest Airlines meltdown of 2022). Cabin is secluded and private (which is partly why we wanted to stay there), but is located within a short drive to the town center and the ski resort. It was the perfect place to come back to and relax by the fire after a day of skiing. Views from the cabin are stunning. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is stocked with everything you need. When we return to Big Sky, this is where we’d stay again!

Winter magic

My wife and I have rented this cabin in December to experience Montana for the first time and to do some cross country skiing. This cabin is located in a totally private (gated) community that sits on a wooded mountain. I am not sure if Big Sky gets that much snow every December but this time we had a real magic winter forest surrounding our cabin. The cabin itself is built in a way that gives you an excellent unobstructed view of all the mountains in three directions and gives you a feeling of being totally secluded. The property is super clean and has a very clever and efficient design. A wood burning stove converted to gas is a centerpiece of the living room that warms it fast and makes everything super cozy. A tankless water heater allows for long hot showers if you want one. The kitchen is stacked with all items that you can possibly desire for. The two bedrooms are very tastefully decorated and all beds are comfortable. The owners are very nice and friendly people. I wanted my review to be objective and write about negative features of this cabin but I can't think of any. This was one of our best stays in mountain rentals and we travel a lot! We would love to come back to this place next year.

Welcoming and Comfortable

The location is convenient to the town center. and views are amazing! The wall of windows in the main living space brings the outdoors in. Laura greeted us on our first day and made us feel very welcome in her cabin and using the hot tub on the deck. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need- good pots and pans, sharp knives, even basic cleaning products. The beds, sheets and pillows were so comfortable! I’ve already recommended this cabin to friends and family!!

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was cute and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. The town of Big Sky is fabulous and the views are amazing. The walk from the parking area to the cabin could be a bit if a challenge for some.

Family snowboarding trip

What a fantastic location! If you like staying close to the mountain but away from it all, this quaint cabin is perfect. The host is wonderful and very responsive to any and all questions. The walk up the hill in winter can be tricky with the snow and ice but they have a rope railing there to help you. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to come back again in the future.

Fabulous and peaceful.

This cabin is absolutely lovely, cozy, charming, and spotless. It’s in a gorgeous remote private setting, close to the owner’s main house. Unless you go down to their house to use the hot tub (which is included/allowed) you will not even be aware of others being around. But if you do meet, you will find that they are the absolutely most gracious and kind hosts imaginable. I mention this because it happens that i suffered a serious skiing accident at the beginning of our trip and am in hospital. They’ve gone way above and beyond, with great generosity, to be helpful to us.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this little cabin. It was a wonderful experience. The ONLY problem we had was figuring out the TV connection but we did and all was well.

Hot Tub Access is Oversold

This is a beautiful, snug, quiet cabin that is off the beaten path and appropriate for 2 couples. We enjoyed the solitude and the close access to town. Our reason for downgrading our review is because the hot tub is very difficult to access. The hot tub is adjacent to the main residence down a long steep, snow covered path that is not entirely shoveled. There is little in the way of lighting and hand rails. A visit to the hot tub results in a long, freezing, slippery uphill trek to the rental unit. Hot tub water is very cloudy. This unit would not be appropriate for anyone with walking or mobility issues.
