Nick Saban commercial in real life

Just like the tv ad, this VRBO has other people living in the house. I had to manage the other tenant's amazon deliveries too. The landlord texted me as soon as I walked in the house and counted cars parked in the driveway. To say the house is dated is an understatement. It's a complete gut job but they charge top . The landlord will also make you sign a separate lease but only inform you of that requirement after the cancelation deadline.

Great location; great town

The house was perfect for our family visit to Blacksburg for a football game! Close to Krogers and a nice walk to Lane stadium. The back patio and large yard are awesome for hanging outside. We had an excellent stay.

Perfect place to gather for an event

Location - A+ Hospitality - A+ Space - A+ Cleanliness - A+ Thank you for a wonderful weekend, could not have been better. Walked to the game and back. Patio is where we were most of the time.

Perfection

Three of us shared this beautiful home for a great Napa Valley getaway. The home is lovely, filled with charm and all the amenities. Located within walking distance of downtown Napa's shops and restaurants. Each bedroom was unique and had its own bathroom. A large and comfy living room, large dining room, and a sweet eat-in kitchen. The front porch was bathed in morning sun. A very special place!

Graduation Stay

Great house; very centrally located with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The backyard is beautiful, quiet and private. We had a nice little cookout following graduation. We all enjoyed our visit and will keep this house on our list for future visits to the area. Thanks for the hospitality and the cookies; such a thoughtful touch.

Roomy house with dated interior on lovely grounds

Eight of us--3 couples and 2 children-- stayed at the house in between attending wedding festivities in Radford. It adequately filled the bill of giving everyone a clean and comfortable place to sleep, the children room to run around, and a location convenient to playgrounds, running trails, grocery store, and downtown Blacksburg. That said, the interior of the house and some of its appliances appear to have been frozen in the late 1980s. The feeling one gets is that the family is renting mom and dad's old house--just as it was when they used to live in it. Holiday renters do not get the house to themselves. The basement is rented out to long-term tenants -- thus eliminating the peace, quiet, and privacy that one would otherwise expect. The landlord/manager is helpful and responsive but lives out of state. In sum, unless you are a large group of football fans attending a VT game and interested in holding a backyard BBQ, you might not find this place worth the price.

Graduation Weekend

My family of 10 people stayed here for VT 2014 graduation weekend. The beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and very well appointed with towels, patio chairs with cushions, kitchen with pots, microwave, coffee maker, etc. There is plenty of off street parking and the house is very roomy and quaint. The yard was big for a great party. Overall it was a wonderful weekend! We were very lucky to be able to spend time together whereas if we were in a hotel it would not have been as much family time. We walked to Lane Stadium in about 15 mins for the graduation ceremony and then a short drive to the other side of campus for the college graduation. The owner was very nice to work with and very thoughtful. Wonderful, memorable experience! Would definitely go back again.

Ashburn Parent's Weekend in Blacksburg

10 of us shared this rental property for a weekend get together to visit our Hokies. The property felt like we were in our own home. It was clean, comfortable and had a great backyard. We all walked to the stadium for the football game and returned for a cookout. I have told everyone I run into that are alumni or with students at VT it is a great place to stay. Our group can't wait to do it again next year!

Great decision

I rented this home for a long weekend recently when my son was married in Blacksburg. It was one of the best decisions I made planning the event. We were very comfortable there, the location was perfect, and the owner very pleasant to work with. Staying in this home was much more fun and pleasant than a hotel would ever be. In addition to having a much better community weekend, it was wonderful to have a well equipped kitchen, laundry, spacious backyard....A nice surprise was the layout of all the bedrooms was such that it was very private and quiet in them. Thank you to the owners for your part in making our weekend even more special.

We really enjoyed our weekend at your house.

...... want to let you know we really enjoyed our weekend at your house. Yesterday we spent some time sitting in the back sitting in the sun, reading, through a football around.. We did catch the soccer game thursday night where VT won 3 to O. Fri we had lunch with our girls at Greeks (excellent choice!!) And then walked across the street to Hokie Hair to get pink streaks and feathers! We did walk the trail both Fri and Sat.. beautiful walk. If u have time I would love to know the history of the house.. Is this where you grew up! I was looking at the pictures in the living room trying to put the pieces together.. My daugters enjoyed looking at the 1976 yearbook. Tyear I also graduated from HS) Again thank-you for such a comfortable experience..... Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

We love the Huckleberry Trail convenience to exercise or get to the Hokies Games at Lane Stadium. It seems we take a couple of trips to the Super Kroger - so it's a good thing it's only 2 mins away. We love to hear the Hokie Band on game days or watch the fireworks at Ring Dance. The backyard and patio are awesome throwing the football around or Corn Hole tournments and grilling our favorite recipes.
