Not what you see!!!
This house was disgusting, definitely not cleaned before we checked in. Literally, walked in an out in under 5 minutes, had to find a hotel for all of us - husband, Mom and 2 little kids, right away. SO disappointing after traveling all day. Dirty, sticky floors, bugs in the house, beds looked like someone just slept in them. Long hairs in the bathrooms, walls and baseboards looked like this was used for parties only. It smelled bad. My husband was supposed to meet us there soon after we arrived but I would not have my kids there let alone have them sleep there with the unsanitary conditions so had to find a hotel. It was a nightmare. We let the host know, they said they would try and get it cleaned but we were traveling all day with little kids, not waiting for it to be cleaned late at night. We didn’t stay there, saw it and left. They are charging us the full amount. We informed them that we were uncomfortable, had to spend extra money on hotels, changing flights to get back home early since our accommodations didn’t work out. I spoke to the host and he admitted that they have a new cleaner and she said she may have “missed” some things but they have 10 properties so he couldn’t check himself to see all of the issues. He didn’t care. I asked for a refund and he said he’d try but never got back to me. It’s now with our lawyer and VRBO so we will see if we get our money back but want to share our experience so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. $1500 down the drain.
