This delightful Cape-style home is situated on picturesque Pleasant Lake in Casco, facing west for spectacular sunset views! Boasting charming features, the newer residence showcases cathedral ceilings and an expansive wall of windows that frame a breathtaking view of the lake. Recent property enhancements include a freshly built deck, a lively perennial garden, a newly designated fire pit area, upgraded stairs leading to the lake, and an improved dock section. Additionally, two new air conditioning units ensure comfort in all seasons and an automatic whole-house generator is in place for stormy weather. The property features a slightly sloping lawn surrounding the house, transitioning to a gentle slope with a staircase leading to a path that guides you to the waterfront. Mature trees line the edges and waterfront, enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings. Access to the lake is easy, with four steps from the beginning of the dock, leading to a one-foot entry point with a predominantly sandy bottom. Pleasant Lake, spanning approximately 1077 acres, offers exceptional water quality and provides an ideal setting for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. This house had everything we needed. A truly peaceful spot, and close to hiking and restaurants.

Strong Family Vacation
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful and I would love to rent again in the future. However, there was some confusion after checkout where we received an email explaining we would not be getting our deposit back due to a dog that left hair and urinated everywhere along with some damage to the property. I explained that I did not own a dog and that we barely spent anytime in the property as my cousin owns a lake house about 15 miles way and we spent every day with her and the family. I was very concerned but after talking with Kris it seems there was some confusion and we should not worry. As I mentioned above I’d love to rent this house again but would like to understand why we were accused of damaging the property. If it was the owners mistake, I’d like to understand how/why so that we don’t run into the same issue again. Otherwise, we loved everthinf about the house and our stay in Maine.

We LOVED staying at this house! House was beautiful and very clean. The dock was perfect for fishing, reading, and swimming. The screened in porch was perfect for dinners and playing games.
