Tarpum Bay is a warm friendly picturesque local Bahamian town, located on the Central/Southern part of the island of Eleuthera. From the house you can walk to everything you need, such as Food Stores, churches, restaurants, bars, beaches, docks to purchase fresh fish, and many historic sites. We recommend a rental car so that you can explore the many other towns, sites, and attractions on the island. A camera is highly recommended whenever you leave the house.
On The Rocks house is a fully furnished 3 bed 2 bath, living room, dining room fully equipped kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry room and dedicated office space. It is ideal for individuals wanting to work in a quiet area or get away from work, couples, honeymooner, families, divers, fisherman, explorers and guest just coming to the island for a special event. Good quality Internet, wifi and cable t.v are free. Guest have free access to property owned kayaks to explore the bay, and bar-b q grill to grill on the porch, backyard or on the rocks. Guest can also take a 3-5 minute walk to the beach for swimming or long beach walks and for physical fitness walk or jog around the settlement (approx 1.2 miles).

Weather conditions changes the ambience and features of the site often. It is not unusual to experience a perfectly calm, crystal clear sea in the morning and later in the evening have a raging sea with waves crashing into the rocks and sending salt spray over 50 feet into the air.
