River Rock Retreat is conveniently close to the Gorge Amphitheater and is your perfect family vacation home at the river! Grab a seat on the Sunland shuttle for those Gorge concerts & festivals!

This home is conveniently located on your way down the hill and into Sunland. Just what you need for family summer vacations, weekend trips for those going to the Gorge Amphitheater and those looking for a great place to get away and relax anytime of the year!

Perched on the main road overlooking the Columbia River with unobstructed views, this home provides guests with a quaint and quiet atmosphere. Plus, we are dog friendly.


PROPERTY DETAILS:
- 2 bedrooms (king bed and two queen beds)
- Pull-out sofa couch in the living room
- 2.5 bathrooms (2 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom)
- WiFi
- Well stocked kitchen
- Dining table for 6, with 2 more seats at the island
- Fiber optic internet

OUTSIDE DETAILS:
- BBQ, propane gas provided
- Outdoor furniture and fire table to enjoy on the deck & catch some amazing sunsets

- Yard & property is not fenced, please be mindful of your dogs


VACATION RENTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR RIVER ROCK RETREAT:
* Max Occupancy: 8 guests (all ages)
* Max number of vehicles: 4 vehicles
* Quiet Hours: 10pm-8am
* No trash left outside of provided trash receptacles
* No trespassing onto neighbors' properties (including children & dogs)


PETS ALLOWED:
We allow dogs only, a max of two dogs for a $200 pet fee. Please review rental agreement and welcome packet for more details about bringing dogs.


BRINGING A BOAT:
Enjoy the beautiful views going up river and floating back down. The sandbar is north and head up to Crescent bar for lunch at Tower Pizza. There is space for parking a trailer in front of the home.


OUTSIDE CAMERAS:
For security purposes, we have four outdoor cameras: one doorbell camera, one at the north and south side of the home, and one above garage. These cameras monitor weather, package deliveries, security and assisting guests. There are no indoor cameras.


VISITING SUNLAND & QUINCY:
Sunland is a small, quiet community, yet it offers quite a bit. The Gorge Amphitheater is 5 miles away, along with Cave B winery and SageCliffe Resort and Spa. Frenchman Coulee is 8 miles away and has some incredible rock formations, terrific rock climbing and some hiking to see the falls. Ancient lakes trailhead is 18 miles away and offers several hiking paths worth getting up early for to beat the heat in the summer.


GUEST / BOOKING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Primary renter must be 25+ years of age and MUST be staying at the property for the complete duration of the booking
2. Rental agreement must be signed after booking is accepted and provide valid ID
3. $500 security hold is required and will be placed 2 days prior to arrival and released 7 days after departure, if no issues are reported.
*Please note we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits

Perfect for Gorge concert goers
A beautiful home with plenty of room for 8 adults. We had a small problem with the door code but the hosts were very quick to take care of it. The house is wonderful. We spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the river. We saw a concert at the Gorge and used the local shuttle. A perfect weekend!

home near Sunland Estates
Very nice, very clean home (looked to be almost new). Large, well equipped, kitchen with modern appliances. Comfortable beds with ceiling fans and each bedroom has its own bathroom. If I had to nit pick I'd say the biggest issue was low water pressure but certainly not a deal breaker. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Great spot!
Loved this house, perfect place to stay if enjoying a concert at the amphitheater. Walked across the road and enjoyed a swimming hole before the show. Super clean and well stocked kitchen, will definitely stay here again.

Backyard view with a cozy house
Very nice house and it fit the six of us very comfortably. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and the backyard view was splendid. We will definitely be using this house in the future.

Wonderful home!
We had a great time at this property. We came for a quick retreat, somewhere we haven't been before, and was recommended by several friends. Sunland is a small little town with the peace and quiet we were looking for. The house was well cleaned, hosts were great to work with and the home had so much. We spent some time at Cave B winery, walked around the resort area and decided to squeeze in a small hike to see the rocks and climbing walls at Frenchman Coulee (just a few miles away). We highly recommend this home, and for those who enjoy boating and being at the river, this home is a great option.

Beautiful home, perfect for a quick getaway
This was a fantastic home! It's got some great new updates that made it feel very modern, and with it being a new rental we appreciated how new everything inside was. So much is provided by the hosts, we were impresses with all the amenities (more than we have seen in other rentals). The home was well cleaned and communication with the hosts was good, given we booked last minute. We went to do some hiking nearby, checking out the trails and views (gorgeous!). There is a small convenient store in Sunland, but other than that, it's not close to much else, so be sure to hit the grocery store before you arrive. We came via I-90 and stocked up at Safeway in Ellensburg. The next time we are in the area for a concert at the Gorge we will definitely be booing this place with friends. It's super close and we hear there is a shuttle.

We love boating, being on the water, wine tasting and having friends & family over for long weekends – this house allows you to do all that with such great views. Sunland is such a quaint, small and quiet town. Plus, we just love morning coffee overlooking the river and “happy hour” with a glass of wine on the deck catching the sunset.
